sir... mutual funds are starting to have governance issues these days(axis, Invesco, Aditya Birla). Is there a possibility that NPS can have similar governance issues?
Sir, What can be good strategy to use NPS account for Central Govt. Employee as there are following restriction for government employee while using it. 1) In auto choice we can't select aggressive choice (equity -75%), only moderate and conservative option available 2) In active choice only one option i.e 100% Government securities. So, what is best options for government employee??
Than u for a very informative video. I believe there is a benefit of tax in the NPS which is worth mentioning here. The capital gains on MF are taxed at 12.5%. Whereas the capital gains in NPS are tax exempted. This can be a fame changer!!
1. When is the interest deposited into NPS Tier-1 and Tier-2 accounts? Is it credited at the end of the financial year? 2. When withdrawing from the Tier-2 account, does the withdrawn amount go to the same account linked during Tier-1 account opening? For example, if the Tier-1 account was opened through SBI, and the Tier-2 account was also linked to the same SBI account, can funds be deposited or withdrawn from this account at any time?
Nice video Gaurav ji... Can you please make video on Corporate NPS (10% basic Salary) + 50K personel contribution and how it is beneficial from tax planning perspective...
on redemption how much tax will go . either only on income or (investment + grow money ) bcz one person is saying that tax will become on combined invested money with growing money .
I have a question regarding NPS tier 1 , if I don't want to continue till 60 years of age , if I want to close within 5 ,6 years , what is the procedure ?
Very much informative Jain Saab. But I think the return figures you have presented are adjusted by expense ratios as MFs usually do. Please enlighten that fact.
As an Employee , if your organisation had mandatory NPS policy , Tier 2 option with AutoAgressivs option looks lucrative. ( Single App monitoring for both Tier 1 and 2 ), comparatively same return with MF , Sone times limited option is good , It saves your Time and Energy:)
@@happyman1428 Provided one has not enabled tax saving clause in Tier 2 (Which makes Investment lock-in period of 3 Year). Otherwise Tier 2 is like your saving account. Deposit n Withdrawal as per one's discretion.
Bro it's obvious...He just mentioned that it acts just like an Aggresive hybrid fund which means if you compare it with pure equity it's less risky and less ROI
Where can I get a video on NPS Tier1 vs Mutual fund. And which is better NPS with tax benefit or MF w/o tax benefit. Specially for 50000 extra benefit. 30% slab
There is option to move tier 2 funds to tier 1, what are tax implications for this, if I want to move the funds from tier 2 to tier 1 in 58th or 59th year or may be fee years earlier.
There will be no tax implications as of now. You can move funds in 58th or 59th year without giving any tax. But it can only be a one way transfer. You can't move funds from T1 to T2.
But where equity in NPS is invested ? In their customised Index Funds or like their Active Mutual funds ? Why can't we compare with their AMC's Active Mutual Funds if they invest in their customized Active Mutual Funds ? Are these companies (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, etc.) having less experienced Fund Manager than their normal AMC Fund Manager ? Gaurav Sir. Nobody answers these pointed questions. please give answers to all of these as it is the final point everybody wants to know before investing in NPS Tier-1 or Tier-2.
