As a former Little League coach for 14 years. The behavior of these kids breaks my heart. The disgusting display of lack of sportsmanship is crazy. I teach Be Forever Grateful Be Forever Humble. Let you work do your talking not your mouth. No one says do not be happy for an accomplishment, but act like you have been there before. Showing up another player will always turn out badly. You made a basket in a game, you didn’t run into a burning house and save a baby from dying. If I had a player like that, they would have been benched immediately.

Kids definitely have waaay more skill than when I played in elementary school. By that time we were just learning the basics of how to run a play and knew nothing about body position and footwork. I just hope these youngins are getting the same level of advanced instruction on being a person of good character and humility off the court because they have a long road ahead. Having that much talent and attention that early can go left fast and be hard to fix later. Then instead of admiring them we will be criticizing them for being arrogant, a problem, undisciplined or whatever other word fits the examples we’ve seen come and go over the years instead of highlighting the lack of good guidance. I hope the kids here have that and become successful and reach their dreams. It will be hard.
