First start since 1975 of this 1954 Plymouth Belvedere.

O-ring from a hardware can replace the gasket between the distributor and block.

This is great! I have a 1953 Plymouth, same engine. Its a constant struggle. Rebuilt engine, cant get a spark now. Appreciate your posts!

I feel the constant struggle haha! Check your distributor and the positive ground signal for it first before anything else!
