This poignant piece was used as part of the soundtrack of the movie Out of Africa. It is heartbreaking as it is beautiful. Now played by my Maestro it takes on new vibrancy and I see it in a different light. You take every piece you play; and in your hands it gains the essence of you and becomes more exciting. Every note is heightened and more individualized but more a part of the whole? More lovely when enhanced by your breathing in my ear. You are an amazing musician and an amazing human being. This was entirely touching and beautiful. Bravo.💟💟💟

Profoundly poetic, performance is a marvel, lyrical while so very precise in intonation. Splendorous four minutes, executed brilliantly by both the soloist and the assemble!

Ele é um violoncelista fantástico. Porém não é o único! Existem tantos outros que não ganham a mesma atenção e mídia que ele, de maneira totalmente injusta.
Alguns dos maiores cellistas da história que recomendo ouvir: Emanuel Feuermann, Gregor Piatigorsky, Pierre Fournier, Maurice Gendron, Leonard Rose, Daniil Shafran, Rostropovich, Heinrich Schiff.
Meu favorito é o Shafran, do qual recomendo ouvir a Sonata Arpeggione de Schubert. De Leonard Rose recomendo a Sonata n.3 em La maior (A major) de Beethoven com Glenn Gould. Do Feuermann recomendo o noturno de Chopin transcrito pra cello.
Da atualidade provavelmente o maior nome do violoncelo é o Yo-Yo Ma. Ele já gravou todo o repertório standard de cello, e tudo que ele gravou é muito bom. Mischa Maisky é um dos mais famosos, mas não meu favorito.
Os meus favoritos da atualidade são Truls Mork (escute ele tocando o concerto de Dvorak e as duas sonatas de Brahms), Pieter Wispelwey (veja os concertos de Haydn), Jean-Guihen Queyras (Suites de Bach)...
E pra fechar, um brasileiro jovem e extremamente talentoso: Luiz Fernando Venturelli, que deve ter uns 20 anos agora, e que eu conheci com uns 15. Ele toca MUITO.

Ouvi mais vezes , e então tentei encontrar mais trabalhos . Não foi difícil porque este viloncelista esta em toda a Internet . Agora posso dizer, que não consigo deixar de o ouvir, em qualquer tema , qualquer área da música . Tenho algumas preferências, sim , mas a sua capacidade interpretativa , a sua autenticidade , sentimento , e amor à música , é imensa . Sai dele , da sua alma , da sua personalidade .
