Emotiva's sound great but I wouldn't say I don't like the lack of tone controls. For me, that is a downer.

Your specs on Marantz are all wrong. It have not an usb input, and yes, it have an very good phono preamp vor vinyl

Uhm, I love the Onkyo sound, but there is no way it has 125 watts per channel, not even close.
