    SnapOn Is Going to be your best choice! For your money and reliability! It will hold up and the re sell value will hold up and better than any orher box, PERIOD

    • @countryprepper4719
      @countryprepper4719 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are not worth the money. It's a box that you put tools in, it's not worth the price of a car. Tell me how a storage box for tools is worth 7,500-30 grand? What does your snap on box do that my us general doesn't do? I open and close a door. Lol

    • @andybub45

      Yep! There are plenty of other options out there but if you can afford Snap On they are the best option.

    I’m saving up for a KRSC430PEG1 (purple with black trim and Stainless top, it exists, just no picture!) I love the little quick trays under the lids, perfect for stationary and pocket tools.
    My HF 5 drawer is already tight without overloading it and I even have air tool racks doing double duty holding other tools. I have a coworker with a KRSC430PCM1 and I love the size and space.
    I love the split lid because our shop has gp carts but making sure to pick up is a chore sometimes. I want to keep my tools in sight and able to keep them at reach without having to chase carts around a project. I know the cart is going to let me store more and keep me from having to make trips to my larger cart. Can’t wait until I can clap that full price for the cart in the envelope down for my dealer and talk buisness.

      It’s a great investment, not to mention if you’re just feeling lazy at the end of the day and don’t feel like putting every tool away for a project that’s half done...just close the top and lock it up for the next morning. That sounds like a sweet color combo, Ron literally just got a new master series in gloss black with the purple trim and it’s 🔥 🔥 🔥

    I choose snap on because they hold their value and have amazing resell value. You can get a tool box or service cart on promo and re sell it used for almost the same price you got it for! The boxes only inflate in price over the years. HF boxes and all other brand name boxes are not as easy to resell and most of the time they fall apart. Snap on lifetime warranty FTW. Buy once. If your in the trade in the long haul just buy good solid tool boxes

    • @mikevonkleist6767
      @mikevonkleist6767 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. Been using these tools forever. I own a shit ton of them. I'm wondering what to do with them when I retire. I have no place to store this thing.

      Facts, my very first rollcart i bought was a kra2407pjj i got a pretty good deal on it because the snapon rep we had was starting to liquidate because he was retiring i got that box brand new for 1,400$ msrp is 3,000 when i traded it in for a nicer roll cart with power and lil more storage i traded it in for like 1,200

    • @TheDunceMafia
      @TheDunceMafia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andybub45 and that is fine but techs that get snapon boxes usually dont retire the toolbox until they retire or even well after they retire
      Some people its about supporting there own country just like many other items some people like to where possible only buy things made in the usa

    The blue point cart that I like with the drawers is you can put your sockets flat in one then your wrenches flat in the other and have the top for whatever. I have a HF 5 drawer cart with a 7 drawer side mount and sunex pry bar lock box.. It looks like I can switch out the bottom deep drawer with 2 shallow ones which i'll look into checking out getting. I've found a drawer add-on for other carts I'm gonna put on the cart as-well, I'll have a cart tour coming out soon when I do one for it.

    My first box I made myself cause I put the money I made into good tools... not all snap on but still quality, then I got a hand carry box from craftsman cause it carried more than I could with my own box so one in each hand. Then time went by and I went into business with another guy who seemed to use my tools more than his own and that made for some bad feelings. Choices were made and I bought him out, changed the name to my own and never looked back. Over the years it was first come first serve and the tool trucks hit my shop coming and going. Then one day snap on pulled up and made me an offer that didn't take a bunch of time. I did keep all my really good tools that had been with for years but the hand tools with exception for my diesel pump tools were traded in for the brand and with it came the two largest boxes that snap on made they were maroon color and had the side cabinets too. after that came another one for all just metric tools and tool reorganising.. At that time I was two hundred thousand deep... paid for!! Following year I got hurt... 52 and some but it took me another five months to realise my time come. Crippled for life with a broken back and neck. I tried to hang in and onto but people were steeling my stuff every chance they got so I sold my shop and house, got my grandson to help me move to a place in the woods where people wouldn't bother me. Then my grand son asked me about my tire machine and I asked why, what was his plans were. He said he was going to start small and with tire machine he might make it so I asked him how much money he had and he stuttered three hundred now but got paid friday, he was 23 so I told him deal on the machine for the three hundred. he had a smile for a mile. then I told him it came with a tool truck and the pick up I drove + all the tools in my flat bed. he was shocked speechless. All the tools I owned but for a few hand tools I keep in desk.... pliers, screwdrivers... little stuff you could put in a lunch pail and told him you have a wife and kid, don't go without money again and he hasn't. I even gave my modus which was about as far as I had got in new school. Thats been going on fifteen years and he has the most of it yet with more of his own. I couldn't sell my tools. It was just too hard, like selling a kid or something so they are his now and he's doing just fine

      I would compare that to someone saying that an Audi S8 is an over priced and unneeded vehicle compared to a Chrysler 300. While in all practicality, yes, the vehicles both have engines, good safety, cargo and passenger capacity etc.... so the cost difference is absurd. But for those who enjoy what differences there are between the two and can afford the upgrade...it is well worth it. I can only give my opinion and to me, the quality of construction, paint/finish, hardware, locks, casters, great customer service; the Snap-on brand is worth it. The question is...Is it worth it to you?

      At 15 I had been building motors (performance) under the guidance of father, uncle and mostly grandfather, at 16 I bought the teal KRL two bay 30” deep drawers (half of the four bay) and paid $50 a week!

      1250!!!??? Our tool trucks all stopped coming around in north Houston, tool stores like northern and harbor are now putting out much better tools that most have saved the markup on tools from the truck. Now they offer better repair prices and still put their kids through college.

      I wouldnt say that about this Snap On, but the US general is a great competitor. If you're starting out or just need a basic roll cart, the US general will work great. But if you want a diagnostic cart or a more advanced roll cart, id go with Snap On. But the blue point in this video is pretty terrible when compared to the US general.
