Straps, chains, gloves, tool box, plenty of stuff to put up in that spot up front. Two mod suggestions from what this video shows. 1.the center pinion should have some form of rest on the outer side of the chain box. Even if it's not necessary. Stronger is better. (obviously a future revision, not something you can add as is). 2. the chain tensioners should get some form of lock (unless i missed it in the video). Chains getting slack in that setup can chew out the gears pretty badly. On a grader we used, it basically scrapped an entire side as the chain ate the teeth, and the operator wasn't a new guy, he has years of experience. It was just a thirty second event.
Yeah right now the pinion is mounted like a cantilever because I just used a common car wheel bearing module. In the future I plan to have bearings on both sides of a shaft to simply support it. The tensioner adjustments are all double nutted for locking.
This closed in chain case reminds me of the way skid steer chansc are enclosed. As long as you can keep oil to the level of the chain it should lubricate well. Your system is better than Sherp it seems.

It's coming along nicely, You could use a 1" nylon strap as a door lift.
