If your character gets stuck and doesn’t fall if you jump into a wall, you have to create a new physic material and then go to the inspector of it and turn friction to zero, then apply that physic material to the collider component of that wall, you should use it on all of your walls in your game

I had to present a project for a Unity course I've been working on. It was a horizontal scrolling space shooter, and quickly realized that the best strategy was to not move because the enemies would rarely spawn directly in front of you. I solved by implementing two changes:
    - once in a while an enemy would spawn that would want to chase the player in the Y axis while moving at a constant pace. So the player had to actively try to move away until the enemy would go past the player
    - and a set of enemies that spawned in threes, which were really vulnerable but every a couple seconds they would get the player's position and shoot at it, the bullet going faster the further the player was from the enemies, so it woulf enourage players to destroy them or fly close to them to make the bullets slower.
It solved a lot of problems in the long run, and all went quite well.

These are phenomenal tips! Also, for anyone who is a fan/used to be a fan of Halo, they had vidocs around the time of the release of Halo 3 where they test.
They literally do all these things in any game(well debatably these days in some AAA games, as we see multiple pages of bug lists on some releases), clicking menus, testing weapons.
Something that struck me is they said when they got external playtesters, they too would get the urge to defend their work.
But remember, you can easily just say, "this game is in Alpha. may be VERY buggy"
And sometimes, you can't plan for EVERYTHING either. In that very same vidoc, they said they tested this jump hundreds of times to see if someone could get to these crazy ledge that would be unfair and unreachable easily. They said they tested it hundreds of times and no one internally could make it, but on the launch day, someone gets up EFFORTLESSLY.
So yea, lots of funny shit can go down :)

I agree with what you said at 5:53, I actually worked in the past as a game-tester, and I would like to add that it is really valuable NOT to help the players you are observing figure stuff out in your game (including how to navigate the games stages and menus) because you can take note of what players might have trouble with or what can be improved in your game or it's mechanics. Like he said, just step back and observe, see what they like and don't like.

Maybe a follow-up video on Where and How to find playtesters. I mean, is this the place? Can I shill for playtesters here? Everybody’s thinking it, but they’re too polite to say it. There’s a time and a place for everything, and I for one, am interested in the proper method. But thank you for your time, I hope these “Less Code More Team Shots,” videos can help bring more people into the community. I want a team, dammit. I always have to make the coffee around here and it sucks.

the problem with shirinking planet, yest, you could do it by simply throwing meteor on player, but it wouldnt be really nice for a player and would end up in being annoyed by them, i would change a little gameplay and add some bonuses to the gameplay that would also increase player's score in the end, it would look much more like Snake and player would want by themselves to driver around to get more stuff

please provide Indonesian subtitles in each of your videos. Because it is very helpful for me and my friends in understanding your video, maybe it's not just me and my friends who are helped, but Indo people will be helped if there are sub-Indonesians. Thank you
