- Exam Steps:
Step 1: MCQ
The majority of the questions are designed to test basic aptitude. The exam also included some basic math and English questions. The exam was AI-proctored. So switching tabs or moving your head away from the camera will disqualify you.
Step 2: Written exam
Psychometric exam The exam includes tasks such as pattern recognition, basic math and English, and scenario-based emotional intelligence questions. Time is minimal.
Step 3: Prelim Interview
A long one-on-one interview conducted by a professional to evaluate the candidate's psychological profile, basic intelligence, etc. In essence, this lengthy conversation aims to thoroughly profile the candidate.
Step 4: Final Interview
It was conducted by BRAC Bank PLC's senior management. The interview will be shorter than the initial one. The majority of questions will be about your CV and your career goals. The interviewer may also pose questions specific to banking, although a deep understanding of the subject is not required. The recruitment process did not aim to find individuals with extensive banking knowledge and skills. Instead, based on my experience, the recruitment process aims to identify individuals who are deemed suitable to lead the next generation. Therefore, there is no need to focus on studying random books, as many online groups would suggest. Instead, attend every step of the recruitment process with confidence and answer what comes naturally to you. The recruiters will select you if they believe you fit the profile and are the kind of leader they want.
