I'll admit - that was just co-incidence on my part. When I began planning it - I put the opening first for sure, then the very last variation of Zeldas Lullaby at the end; everything else in the middle I put in the order I did because it allowed me to transition effortlessly from one song to the other without too many crazy key changes.
Thank you very much - I still have fond memories as a kid of defeating Ganondorf (and Ganon) in Hyrule Castle. They seriously need to do a remaster of that game.
One of the few pianists on TH-cam who score their arrangements. THANK YOU. Subbed. You're a fantastic musician. Musicianship just gets more and more rare each decade!
Thank you very much for the kind words. I do take pride in my scoring and my performances. Glad you like my arrangements. I'm hoping musicianship isn't on the decline... otherwise humanity will have lost something really fundamental to our mental well-being.
Epic Piano Arrangements So long as music education exists in schools, the classics will always be played and admired. Music education is what should be protected. You are right in saying musicianship promotes mental wellbeing! Reading and playing keeps one sharp. Not practicing keeps one flat lolol. :P
Awww [gushes]... Glad you liked it. Figured I needed to do something big for the 20th Year anniversary of this great game. Is it just me or was it the greatest Zelda game EVER?
Thank you. This one took me an entire day to score and notate, a week to practice and perform, and another day to edit (it was my first time doing a video with 4 camera angles). Sadly enough, my Max Payne was half an hour of practice and then I just hit record.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it. I do miss the days when I was playing this on the N64... amazing to think the graphics it had 20 years ago were still impressive for its day.
I don't know about trying to get this on Vinyl... might be expensive, but if I can get this up to 100K views, the MP3 will be uploaded for free. From there you can try and convert it to vinyl, but I wouldn't know how.
It's got hundreds of views on Facebook after Zelda Universe shared it. I've personally played it at least 10 times now. I hope people help it smash that record. I'd love to have this on my tablet as an MP3. Thank you for the reply.
It deserves every right to be so embraced and enjoyed. It tugged on my heartstrings in all the right ways. I've now listened to this medley at least another 5 times just since waking up. It puts me in just the right mood to do work and not rush.
I listen to a lot of piano music and honestly people are missing out on you're music as it sounds so nice. I subscribed when i started to listen and i hope many more will
Well i really hope you do. As i can tell you put a lot of effort into this. I hope my small donation helps as its just a way of saying thanks for the great music because i listen to this almost every day. Thanks again :)
Thank you - I was wondering which user sent it. You are actually the only user to date that has donated, so thank you very much. I'm glad my arrangements give you a lot of enjoyment.
Thank you - I'm glad you liked that one as well. I put far less effort into the Max Payne video, yet it seems to net me the most views. I'm convinced that the more effort I put in, the less views I get, sadly.
Ich freue mich sehr, dass es dir so viel Spaß gemacht hat - das ist eines meiner Lieblingsmedleys, und hin und wieder ziehe ich die Noten heraus und spiele es noch einmal.
Thank you very much - this arrangement I am very proud of (probably more than the others). This was my first attempt at creating a proper Medley and trying to line up which songs could transition into each other, and it being almost 14 minutes long, it needed a lot of attention and practice.
I can see that... I too record sometimes and it's challenging to play perfectly even for a small piece . I can imagine how difficult it is to do so for a 14 min recording. I liked the other Zelda piece too . Btw did you need a few retakes for this ?
I'll admit, I did record this twice and stitched them together. Once with the Camera point from the right, and the iPhone capturing from the left of the piano... and another take with the iPhone in the cradle above the piano and the camera from behind the piano facing me. Then it was just editing it together to 'try' and make it seamless.
Yes it shows! Unless someone knows the themes, it is hard to even realize that this is a medley and not a single piece! I am just getting started with my channel - there is not much there yet, but I hope to collaborate with you on some project in the future!
Thanks. I'm just listening to your 'Auld Lang Syne', being a Scot a heart... bloody beautiful. Love that Irish pipe in the beginning... I hope the future holds a collaboration between us as well. Best of luck for your channel.
If this video ever gets to 100K views, I will share it for free. I'm trying to bolster my view count, and it seems unfair that the simplest arrangement I made is easily getting the most views despite me not putting any effort into it; WHILE this took me over a week solid of notating and writing out by ear, practicing, recording and editing the camera angles and its view count is rather meagre. I'm glad you enjoy it though.
No problem. Do you mind if I use your stuff in videos as background music as long as i put a link to the original video in the description? I need some non-copyrighted music for time lapses and stuff.
I love how he arranged how you would play the game literally he has each song lined up as you go in the story, magnificent!
Dude! You are making my childhood come alive again!

Couldn't agree more.
That was stupendous! I’m a major Zelda fan (as evidenced by my many ocarina/violin/piano covers and medleys) and I LOVED your medley. Great job!
I usually reply to as many comments as I can, but I am sorry I seemed to have missed replying to yours. Please forgive me.
@@EpicPianoArrangements - nothing to apologize for. Your music is great btw
Bah! You're making me want to go play this game through again!
Great stuff :) Thanks
Well... it will be 20 years old at the end of this year. Great way to recapture a Nostalgic childhood. :D

Literal tears on my face. This was so beautiful. You are an amazing person.

That's an awesome medley, I like a lot the playful arrangement of the Shop theme
That was a bit of a tricky one to try and emulate the dry drum sounds, but I think I pulled it off.
You've made a great job :)
extremely godlike
Thank you. This one took me an entire day to score and notate, a week to practice and perform, and another day to edit (it was my first time doing a video with 4 camera angles). Sadly enough, my Max Payne was half an hour of practice and then I just hit record.
Thank you master. Thank you.
Glad you like it - this one was a lot of effort. Doesn't seem to have gotten that many views unfortunately. :(
That was so beautiful... You are truely a talented pianist

What I would give to be able to have this on vinyl. An absolute treasure to the senses.

I cried at the end.
Koji Kondo has that effect on some people... his music really is remarkable.
Amazing Chops! That room also looks so Zen, so cool.
Thank you so much - it was so worth the Acoustic panelling and sound-proofing. I've played Stravinsky at 11:30pm and the neighbours didn't even know.
thoroughly enjoyed this. really creative and impressive. was looking for kondo playing these but u killed it!
Thank you very much. I did my best to bring out the best of his music. Kondo is genuinely brilliant.
Does Koji Kondo play the piano?
@@EpicPianoArrangements so are u dude! loving your other uploads. very interesting mission you seem to be on. amazing dedication and skill.
Thanks Joe. :)
That was marvelous. Please keep it up, your arrangements of themes from video games are astonishing. (sorry for my english, I'm french)
No problem... I aim to keep doing them, and your English is very good. Thanks for your kind words. :)
I listen to a lot of piano music and honestly people are missing out on you're music as it sounds so nice. I subscribed when i started to listen and i hope many more will
Thank you very much... I still doubt I'll ever get that elusive viral video that propels my channel into popularity. :(

Awesome!)
Glad you approve. 😎
EPIC!!!
Thank you - I think it's one of my best ones... but mainly because I finally got a camera that can record me pressing the keys clearly.
I bet you Ganondorf and his minions were the ones who disliked this :D
Epic Piano Arrangements haha! He dislikes every Zelda related video, and sometimes he creates dozens of accounts to do so!
We must defeat them
@@BurnttBurrito DAMN RIGHT!!! :)

Ok .. cool :-) What audio software do u use... I use audacity
I used Sony Movie Studio v13 - the old one that was still Sony's prized software... before they gave it to Magix, who ruined it.
Thanks for sharing!
No problem - glad you like it.
This was amazing! Such an intricate arrangement!

Thanks... I'll download the album and see if I can get onto it. It's a little hard now that work has started back up again, but I'll give it a whirl.
this is an awesome melody but on music notes it and one of your other zelda melodies videos are switched.

More than happy, if you're willing to put the link in - that would be great.
