You should hear Austin's solo version, truly delisious! His angelic voice is on full display.

Scrumptious delights, indeed. I especially like the "carillon bells". Home Free is well known for their perfect enunciation. You never have to wonder what they're saying. Austin has a solo version on his channel which is also outstanding. Just him and a friend with a guitar.

Tim has a 5+ octave range...he can sing Tenor as well as earth shattering bass. Check out the Bass Gang "Hooked on a Feeling" ft. Tim Foust.

I love the doo wop style of this. What I truly love about Home Free is that they make each song their own, and always put whose voice sounds best in a particular song as the lead. They all get a turn. You haven’t heard Chance yet,and I know that you will love his voice too. They all have incredibly gorgeous voices!

Another homfredian gem. This song has belonged to Bobby Hatfield since 1965. I never thought anyone could dethrone him. But damn, they did it. It belongs to Home Free now. No dis to Bobby, though. It took 50 years for anyone to out sing him.
The video is an homage to the original 1950s era prison movie, “Unchained,” from whence the song takes its name.
Holy smoking rockets. Nobody sings like these men.

Speaking of doo wop, Tim recorded an album of his fave doo wop songs, like 'Will You Still Love Me/Stay', 'Come Go With Me', and 'Since I Don't Have You'. His vocal range is out of this world!

One of Home Free's great talents is in the way they can draw you into the song and evoke the emotions from the song. We have all laughed, cried, sighed, and almost died from the way they wrap us in the words and tune.

I bought the sheet music in 1955, and still have it. Neither the old piano nor my fingers do it justice anymore, but what a great reminder of the movie, in which prison was the setting. Home Free has taken it back to its original setting, which is why the lyrics so perfectly HF's scene. And while I don't mean any aspersion to Bobby Hatfield,, I can't help knowing that HF doesn't do auto tune. The 2 versions stand as the best covers ever. Thanks for your great reaction!

Home Free went back to the roots of the song. It was written for a movie in 1955 called Unchained about prison. Tim, the first singer, has a 5 octave range so you heard a little bit of it here. They’re all fantastic singers. They all take the lead depending on the song. To hear a little more of Rob (glasses) try Bless the Broken Road. It’s beautiful. Good reaction and I subscribed for more HF! 😃

Oh, being you like Austin’s lovely voice….he’s got his own solo channel … under Austin Brown…he’s done “BRING HIM HOME”…from Les Miserable…. He’s done a most Amazing job of it‼️🫶🏼🎵🎶. And, he got Rob to do “NESSUN DORMA” from Puccini’s TAURANDOT with him……The title of the video is “TWO COUNTRY BOYS TRY TO SING OPERA”….. lol, we didn’t know that Rob had studied opera at uni. Austin studied classical musical theatre & a little opera. Tim …. The Awesome bass has his own solo channel too…under Tim Foust …he did an album of DOO-WOP.called “PIECES OF ME”….. he’s done 4 of them into videos…his layering is Amazing 🔥🎶🔥‼️❤️

They took this song back to its origin with the the doo-wop style song & prison video. The song was originally from a 1955 prison movie called Unchained. I look forward to your continued journey down the Home Free rabbit hole. You have a blessed day

What a unique and creative arrangement this is. They always deliver their music with the emotion front and center. We don't just hear the music, we feel it. They satisfy a craving I didn't even know I had. Good grief, Home Frees' talent and skills are boundless. I don't know if anyone else has felt the same, but this is one of their songs that is so beautiful, it makes my heart hurt in a good way. Maybe that doesn't make sense to anyone but me. They are in prison for stealing hearts and killing this cover! Great reaction!

The fifties feel, the black and white, the old typewriter, the prison setting are so appropriate to the song since it was written for a 1952 prison movie entitled "Unchained." Home Free knows their songs and the history and the meanings behind the music and do such a fantastic job of being true to the original while adding their own special touch. Great reaction. Tim Faust, has an album of Doo Wop music he has put out and it will just blow your mind. It includes Come Go With Me, Will You Still Love Me / Stay and Since I Don't Have You just to name three of the songs on that album that he has done separate videos for. Check them out as well.

That's Tim starting off, the lowest voice I've ever heard in my life so we call him dragon breath. And then, Austin takes over with the calmest and easiest high notes I've ever heard. There's no struggle to reach the sky for him. And the others and Adam the beatboxer, well just know we all get in our feels too. Thanks for the great reaction, Marie!

The Righteous Brothers had a big hit with "Unchained Melody" in 1965. Home Free did such a beautiful rendition of this classic song. They added an old school doo-wop feel to it. The video in prison is very fitting as this song was originally written for the 1955 prison film "Unchained". The film centered on a man who contemplates either escaping from prison to live life on the run or finishing his sentence and returning to his wife & family.

You are in for a wonderful journey.
Tim , bass, takes the lead in “ring of fire “ if you were aJonny Cash fan. And also in Josh Turner’s “Your Man “. The live version is best.
You can hear a little bit of his range in both songs. Anything he does is great. He has a doo op album out that is just him. On you tube.
