Ive been riding for 35 years and owned literally hundreds of Harleys even had one I built on the cover of Easy Rider in 1992 and this bike turns more heads than one can imagine... Being born in 68 the replica year of this bike it will stay in my collection for years and generations to come. Nice job HD
Oh man, that is what I call CLASS BABY. reminds me so much of those old Cadillac’s from the early 60’s. Digging the white on the saddle bags too. To me this is a look that is absolutely timeless.
Stunning bikes, colour schemes are fabulous! Loved Electra Glides ever since I saw Electra Glide in Blue as a teenager! A great shame we won't see them across here 🇬🇧
Freedom and Connection to the Road: Riding a motorcycle provides a sense of freedom and a direct connection to the road, allowing riders to experience the surroundings in a unique way.
Well it definitely doesn't look like the old bike, I have a 69 Electra glide which this is trying to imitate but the modern engine just doesn't look the part. The alternator looks goofy the battery and oil reservoir are wrong and the center cluster is to sleek and the mufflers should be fishtails. The seat looks pretty close though way better than what I have on mine I think I will have to get one to complete my classic.
If I didn’t have a paid off 2019 FLHR…. I’d be fighting off the demons on my shoulder.. BOTH SHOULDERS telling me I need this bike .. Well.. I really want this bad …. I just NEED a good touring bike and my 2019 is handling business
This is a beautiful bike, i would love to own one, i had 77 and 81 Electras and this Road King has got the look. For the money i would want chrome fender tips on both ends, front axle nut covers, a 3 bar luggage rack, a skirt for the seat like the old FLs had, this bike is just begging for some dresser tail lights !
Great looking ride, but you would think for the price it would include chrome fork sliders and hand controls. Regardless, it would still be awesome to have.
@@trippontwowheels And original looking... chrome slider covers are cheap to put on, but never came from the factory stock.... in fact you could chrome the lowers also to match but then where does it end ?
It looks nice but way to expensive and to few made. They need to bring back Electra glide standard base model for us peasants that don't have that deep pockets
Love it but why couldn’t HD put LED lighting all around? I know it’s a tribute bike that evokes the spirit of the 1968 FLH but seriously it’s a safety thing.
Nice but not complete, it should come with HD nostalgia grips , heel toe shifter, floating front rotors to finish it off especially for the level exclusivity and price point.
Why is it considered an Electra Glide? Looks exactly like a Road King to me. Not knocking it, I like it a lot. Just honestly curious about the model classification.
Man I have a Harley and love it. Say what you will about H-D but the marketing department is brilliant 😂😅 slap some “custom paint” charge $3000 few bolt ons charge $3500 make it a “limited edition” charge a $3000 premium and watch suckers eat it up all day everyday.
At least they put the speedo on the tank this time. I'll keep my '72 ElectraGlide I bought back in 1980 for 2500 bucks. I wouldn't sell it for five times what I paid for it.
I really like the look of the highway king. The problem I have with it is the same as the revival last year - it sits too tall. If you’re under about 6ft you’re probably not flat footing it.
@@trippontwowheels Yes it is, I love old school designs. I have a red Electra Glide now. I drove a orange VW bus camper for years, I would have to go with the orange one. I have two Harleys, a third would be too expensive....... We must be thankful for what we have.
I was surprised that the bike had halogens; obviously they are determined to stay old school with this one. You really need to see the bike in person - the windscreen actually looks pretty good in real life (to me, anyhow). Ride safe brother!
Road King Standard with 114 motor, special paint, badging and numbering, as well as some accessories from the HD catalog. Nice bike but worth an extra $10k? Nonetheless, I'm sure they will sell like hotcakes!
For its limited edition collectibility alone, definitely yes. Plus it has standard: cruise, abs, cornering ABS, traction control, linked braking, the 114 engine and a much better seat. And it’s roughly only $6,000 more.
That's a pretty bike. But, that is just a bit too much chrome for me. But, it's very classic. And, some of us are old enough to be classic. That yellow and black one behind it is more my style. Other than I'm not a yellow fan. Make it O D green or red with black trim and now you have my attention.

Great looking Harley-Davidson but I always felt like when I rode one I was riding on top of a tractor. Much prefer a sportbike like a Hayabusa or ninja rocket
@@trippontwowheels don't get me wrong Harley-Davidsons were great great bikes but they're more like service bikes for cops funeral escort or long cruising they are not the reason I ride a motorcycle to begin with I love power speed agility being nimble that when you cracked the throttle you are gone I don't like a great big old block of iron

That's the nicest bike Harley has put out in a long time! Who needs a fairing? The windshield is a timeless classic.
I wish they’d do that with all the old models even if they were limited edition but not cost effective I guess
I like it in the Orange.

Hiya mate!
Ive set on a police bike with that type seat. Even though its a longer reach to the ground. The seat floor board relationship is excellent
Beautiful bike, glad to see they have put the Speedo back on the tank.
Absolutely love this Highway King!
I’d buy one today if I didn’t already have a payment on my bike. I LOVE IT!
I love this orange bike.
You and me both!

The solo seat should have been a larger design for two up riding ..

I like it. Harley must of went around town and dropped one of each color at the dealerships. Caliente got the Magenta one.
Only the bigger dealerships are getting them so I’m told. San Antonio is getting three. Cowboy, Caliente, and Javelina are getting one each.
