I'm a big Xbox fan and collector. I love the Xbox Series X and the Xbox One. I'll keep collecting physical Xbox games as long as they'll releasing them.
I'm both when it comes to games. I enjoy the sales for digital gaming, but as a kid that grew up in the 90's, I absolutely LOVE physical media. My digital collection is just a s vast as my physical collection. I have also lost a few games to disc rot, and I had to buy the digital version. Digital is good if you have rare games and do not wanna lose the value of the physical game as well. Overall, I am a gamer that enjoys gaming, wether or not it is physical or digital.
Some of the Targets in my area DON'T even sell physical XBOX games anymore, they only sell digital cards....🤨 It's going to be a horrible Black Friday shopping day this year! The tradition is basically over since Best Buy, Target, Meijers, and a few stores don't sell DVD/Bluray anymore in my area too!! Only Walmart do!! #TeamPhysical
I'm concerned about the next gen of Consoles if they go all digital only. If they do, I may be coming up to the end of the road for modern day gaming. I need to *OWN* my games in physical format. Just like my music and movies.
They're clearly prepping their customers for an eventual exit from the hardware business and instead being a 3rd party party publisher. Sucks but every sign points to it.
Kingthrash talked about this 3yrs ago....Phil called this the 3 Horizons... 1 Buy studios 2 monthly paid service 3 spread xbox across multiple products...this was in motion 3-4 years ago.....nobody believed him.
I wish Xbox hired more creative help to keep things rolling and listened more to the fans. Sucks how it has gone down and I hate this all digital garbage. Taking the freedom of gamers to play certain games on console without internet is not cool. There is a lot now in the gaming industry if they don’t stop the direction about them making the money not about the gamers. There are a small amount of exceptions. Put the great classic games back out. To have in possession upgraded graphics no passes no red tape. Agree with you on this video. A kick in the nuts now. Maybe Elon or someone will kick it back off with new processing and graphics with us in mind with our favorites and ideas: on games consoles etc.
I said the same thing, the console war ended at E3 2013, Sony won the console war. That's why I don't really care that Sony ports games to the non competing PC because the only on PS exclusive title strategy is no longer necessary, that exclusive strategy worked like a charm & destroyed its competitor Xbox & won the console war now its time to adopt new strategies moving forward.
I have seen this coming for a long time I don't like it and I think Phil Spencer is miserable and feels sick at whats happening and has 0 call in what happens at Xbox 😢
why do you think that? why do you think he’s been standing in the way of this? he’s a suit. he’s at the center of the decision-making. the whole Spencer vs Nadella narrative is window dressing
I don’t think Microsoft will stop making consoles. As a user of both Xbox and PlayStation I have no issue with first party titles being released on other platforms. If it’s a single player game, play it on the system you like. If it’s multiplayer, it’s becoming more common to have cross play enabled. If that’s the case, again choose to purchase it on the system you want. No need to worry, I have to buy it for X console because I want to play with my friends. I played the monster hunter wilds beta with my bro on my series X while he played on the ps5. I like where I have my series X setup in the house and had no issues with playing with him. The more options to play games on different devices the better. Plus if I was trying to sell more games I know you’re probably gonna buy the game more than once if it’s available everywhere… like how I bought og resident evil 4 on every platform possible 😂
So if I log into the Xbox app on my tv all my digital games I purchashed will pop up and i can stream them via a cloud? or is this only game pass. Do I need to pay to stream or what.
Xbox had a great run man up to the 360. What killed it for me was the having to download games off the disk instead of plug and play. Along with the lack luster first parties and the new woke CEO was the nail in the coffin of course. But hey for me Sega hurt way worse. It felt like Xbox tried to be the Dreamcast we all dreamed of and the 360 was that almost for me if it wasn't for the red ring of death lol but they ultimately got it right.
lol Xbox are a bunch of clowns. That was the worst marketing ad I've ever seen. They might as well have put the PS5 up there because that's where most people are playing their games since they don't sell on their own box
It's weird and unfortunate now because it seems like such a drastic change, but I believe Xbox has its eye on the future and probably thinks that if they anticipate where the gaming industry is going & get there first, then the money will flow. All comes down to bringing in the most $$$ at the end of the day for corporations.
It's both for me. I mainly play on PC but there are certain games I still want physical on console. Those games are niche to the masses or are special IPs to me. Everything else I am fine with playing it digitally on PC.
I'm disappointed with the fact Xbox finally got games just to go 3rd party. Been a Xbox guy since day one even though I buy Sony consoles also. I really don't see why they would come out with a new console after this. If anything I might get the handheld to play my backlog on the go and that would be it for me.
They honestly didn't have a choice, Microsoft purchased Bathesda & ABK for over $80billion, u do know they have to make that money back right? Do u expect Xbox to lock all those game franchises onto the Xbox console which only has about 30million console users & much of those 30million don't purchase games instead they use gamepass. There's simply not enough Xbox users to generate $80+Billion within a timely manner so Microsoft had no choice but to start putting games on any & every platform.
@Captain-America4992 Trust me, I've been on Xbox since day one coming from Dreamcast. There are no more excuses. If they want to be a 3rd party publisher, just do that. There is no point in making hardware anymore. I expect them to do what makes them the most money and that would be what Microsoft does best...sell software. If you are looking at both consoles next gen on shelves and can only pick one PS6 would be the only logical choice. Play all of Microsoft games and Playstation games.
Nothing sad about xbox becoming a subscription service. Xbox brand died after the 360 generation to be honest. I personally feel that the Xbox one and Playstation 4 failed to be worthy successors to the 360 and PS3. And you wanna the funniest thing? I've played more on my Nintendo switch than the PS5 and XB Series X combined🤣🤣
What is wrong with being able to stream Xbox games on a TV or playing them on handhelds, including their future handheld. Its better for your playstation library to be locked in a single console? 😂 No thanks. Play anywhere is a great feature for PC that needs to expand. And for your information Xbox game division makes more money than PlayStation.
Xbox Series X wins me over. Play anywhere means my games work on PC and XBOX, Series X upscales a tonne of 360 games and plays Xbox One. Playstation just tries to sell me a near PC cost PS5 to get games running how they shouldve 3 years ago and all their games are coming to PC anyway too. What you said is right, Nintendo will be the only one left with exclusives. XBOX at least integrates with PC. I personally sold my PS5 and Playstation games and am sticking to 360/Series X/Switch and PC
In truth there is more profits in selling software in the end than the console hardware. Same like it is in crude oil is where the money is than the vehicles, trains, airplanes etc.
Physical! I love collecting games that you in fact own.
I'm okay with Xbox going the way of the dodo as a Xbox 360 collector. I'm not happy with modern Xbox myself.
"This is an xbox. Nothing is inside it, just like the xbox"
Lmao 💀😂
Lol
Forgot to mention the toilet is an Xbox too! A lot of call of duty is played on there🤣🤣💀💀
HAHAHAHAH
Physical forever. I’ll grab a digital game on a deep discount, but 90% physical
Physical for my retro games. For modern I only buy physical if I really like the game otherwise digital.
The Steam Deck in a PlayStation carrying case being an Xbox fully sent me 😂
Lol

If a game is worth playing, it's worth replaying & having in a collection... I fully support physical games, forever!
"*an Xbox" it only stood out to me so much because you said it multiple times and it sounded so wrong lol
Lol

Nothing but facts were said in this video.
I been an xbox fan and collector since the og xbox.. Hurts to see what they did with something i had so much fun with. Regret buying the Series X.
I'm concerned about the next gen of Consoles if they go all digital only.

XBox One games are dirt cheap so I'm already on that wave of collecting for it

Microsoft/Xbox officially is tapping out.

By this point, everything is an Xbox 😂😂😂
Lol

PC is literally an Xbox. Windows key + G to access the Xbox features
So if I log into the Xbox app on my tv all my digital games I purchashed will pop up and i can stream them via a cloud? or is this only game pass. Do I need to pay to stream or what.
I don’t know
@@MrWrightWay I tried it on my PC and only PC compatible games popped up not my full library....lame.

At this point Xbox pretty much is the new Sega. Also Physical only buy digital games 10 dollars and under unless the physical game is expensive 🤷🏽♂️

The day they put Halo on ps5, am done and i'll sell the console.😢
It's not so farfetched. Remember Microsoft owns minecraft; a multiplatform
That opening bit 😂
Lol
My target has already pulled the xbox games from the stores by me , all they have is the controllers and pre paid cards
Dude you’re right 😮

The Xbox brand is pathetic now, so yeah Xbox is dead.
Title is worded poorly
Xbox is toast. Frfr
physical only!!!!!!!!!!!

What does it matter? I play on Xbox I like Xbox it don’t matter. I get it for free and pony still have to pay for it so what does it matter?
It matters to you because you chose to comment , watch and try to insult Sony fans lol
@@nickgill08 jokes on you buddy 🤣
