I have taken extra measures to prevent my stuff from falling. My big Ikea shelves are fixed to the wall, my collections, esp the mugs are fixed to their spot with a special adhesive used for earthquake proofing. There are a lot of earthquake proofing stuff readily available in Japan 😊
This must cost a lot I strive to make enough money to live this decorated! So cute btw love the touch of fruits basket on the outdoor table so much nostalgia!

I live in a high rise building so it doesn’t really get dusty much. I just occasionally dust off when I move and rearrange my stuff in the shelves, and just vacuum regularly, at least twice a week. I also have an air purifier to minimize the dust build up.
