    They are literally mindblowing 🔥❤️ People don’t know that they live in Sweden and work in Sweden. They have their base here and are signed to a Swedish record company. Their entire team is Swedish. I find it incredibly disrespectful to read all the disturbing comments just because they are from Norway. It would never be as controversial if it was another non-european ethnicity.

      They are from Norway born and raised. they do not live in sweeden but they have been to Swedish melodifestivalen 2 years now. but they do not live in sweeden and they are Norwagians.

    I love this. It sounds a bit like Hall & Oates (at the `chew you out` bit) also Depeche Mode and a bit Michael Jackson. Yet nods confidently to the future of Swedish pop

    They don't want to participate for Norway because they consider Melodifestivalen more "dignified" or higher quality. They basically want to compete/win over the best 😌

    • @NemoSwitzerland
      @NemoSwitzerland 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ehmm they never said that… they were invited to compete in mello twice already … I’m pretty sure that if mgp invited them they would accept it. But they never did invite them… so I don’t see a problem there

    • @emilia4355

      @@NemoSwitzerland that's what I've heard. When they got the question of why they wouldn't compete for Norway, that's what I remember them answering.

      They became child stars in Norway when they won MGPJr as ten-year-olds. After the pandemic, they got a record deal in Sweden, and for artists who have been child stars in their home country, it is smart to venture further as adult artists in another country, where they are not as well known. They are also from northern Norway, and have probably spent many summers as children in Sweden, like so many others from that part of Norway. Bottenvika is the shortest route to stable summer weather for people from northern Norway.
      To the Norwegian media, they say that they are participating for Sweden since they work and live in Sweden. It's great. I wish Sweden the best of luck with Eurovision 2024. Norway otherwise has some of the world's best music producers, some working with American artists, so it is doubtful that a lack of Norwegian professionals is the reason they are betting on Sweden.
      Unfortunately, Swedes tend to think that the neighboring country is in a very bad situation musically. Maybe you should listen more to Norwegian artists?

      @emilia4355 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ahkkariq7406 haha, no we absolutely don't think Norwegians are bad at music at all. More the opposite. In national finals though Sweden is famously more serious and have a higher quality across all songs, and put the production put more effort into the songs. M&m have declined to be in grand prix in the past.

      The big difference is probably rather that Norway chooses who we send to Eurovision based on different criteria than Sweden. Sending the right artists is more important than winning. By the right artists, I mean those who win the hearts of Norwegians, and who benefit the most as artists from participating. We could have chosen Keiino this year, but they are already big in Europe. They don't need the publicity. However, Gåte does, and not least Europe deserves to get to know Gåte.

    If you do have the time, please react to Dotter "It's Not Easy To Write a Love Song", I think that's so beautiful and emotional, it's my winner of Melodifestivalen 2024, even if I realize that M&M will most likely win, and I don't mind "Unforgettable" winning.
    Jacquline "Effortless" is also great, it's a bop, as well as Maria Sur "When I'm Gone".

    This looks to me like Modern-Modern Talking with copy-pasted Swedish House Mafia beats (12-14 years old, outdated for sure) and nothing just tiny bit original original anywhere :) but it's the best Sweden's got right now in their selection, I like it the most, and it's EV ready
