- Have you and your kids ever heard of pyramid workouts? This type of routine is perfect for working on cardiovascular endurance and making the little ones even stronger at the same time!
This workout is popularly known as a pyramid, as the exercises are performed by gradually increasing the intensity of each one, while the repetitions are gradually reduced, in balance with the intensity. This means that the first exercises will be simpler and have a higher number of repetitions, then we'll have medium intensity exercises with fewer repetitions and, finally, we'll have the most intense exercises, which will be done with even fewer repetitions. While your kids are working with more repetitions, their cardiovascular endurance will be more tested, and by working with greater intensity, their strength will be challenged!
