- Wow it's been a while. Two weeks? More? Anyway, here's Ladies First by OSTER Project. OSTERさん大好き＾ω＾
I learned how to do some rudimentary code lines with karaoke templater, so fancy heart effects, yay. I also didn't sub in the lines that were in English already. (minor update: well, I made a small math mistake in the coding. It goes by so fast that you can't really tell but I fixed it on the version on my computer and it does look better)

This is also kind of bittersweet because OSTER Project is a girl herself who's married to another girl (gay marriage isn't even legal in Japan either, so either they got married out of the country or they're just not married in an official sense) so these are probably the feelings she went through ;_;

How does World's End Dancehall actually end for you? Because in some popular interpretations, WED is about suicide, and I REALLY hope that's not what you mean.
This song gets me really emotional because the girl I like showed it to me the last time I saw her before I moved and it just makes me think that if I hadn't moved I could've been her girlfriend. Crushes are pain.
that is the worst thing about moving. I was actually in love with this one girl, she had died a while after I moved away, she had died because she was suffering from an infection. I had known her since 3rd grade, and now I'm in high school. I never told this to anybody before, but I feel so open now because I know she would have wanted me to.

Years ago when I listened to this, I never noticed Sweet Ann was used as the chorus. That just makes me love it even more, the fact OSTER Project used her. English Vocaloids are criminally underrated.

Yes it is possible to have babies from 2 mothers or 2 fathers, without a third person. Google "having babies without sperm", you'll see. Just a matter of 'when', not 'can' :)

Yeah, it does make the song that much more emotional. I've thought about those lyrics for a while and the conclusion I've come up with makes sense. Without thinking of it that way, the cooking thing seems a little out of place.

This song breaks my heart a bit because there are so many lines that allude to the fact that their love is somehow considered "different" and that they can't truly be together publicly.

You know, this should seriously be a song to promote LGBT Rights and equality in Japan. They really should make a Vocaloid anime series, and Miku and Luka should be one of the main couples.
You should read more yuri manga. I agree that most animes do have the OTT plot-lines and sex-crazed characters (actually, I think the only one that doesn't is Aoi Hana) however yuri manga can be quite different; I can find a variety of realistic and moe yuri manga series. My only explanation is that the newer mangas have not been turned into animes yet and it could be a sign that something is changing. Then again, I might have just picked up good series, I'm not fully sure. One things for I am sure of though: yaoi has no hope.
JamieSmallGuy Aoi Hana is not the only yuri anime with characters that are not sex-crazed. An anime similar to Aoi Hana would be Sasameki Koto. Maria-sama ga Miteru is another example, though I've never seen it, as well as Strawberry Panic! (I think, never seen Strawberry Panic! but I've read the light novel.) A less-serious example would be Yuru Yuri.
Insanity "Insane" Dreams Well, this can be a proof of why so many Yaoi/Yuri shows. They can't mary each other, so they express their feelings through TV or books and that kind of stuff.
