North node pisces 9th house, 53, single parented for the last 20 yrs- (had them later in life- two still at home) to say south node has dominated would be an understatement!!😂 have worked in metaphysics throughout my life inc tarot reading, crystal sound bowl healing, crystals etc..Interests art, music/sound/singing.. all i want to do is get off grid, make a little cob home, be ALONE, commune with Spirit and nature and indulge MY art, MY passions. Totally worked to the bone physically. This all made sense. Libra mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Gemini moon and rise. To say i get stuck in my head about all this is ALSO an understatement lol🥰

North node in Pisces is afraid to take risks, to go with the flow, to give love precedence over work and career.
That's why they end up in boring relationships: they opt for someone who is not going to demand that they compromise on their life plan, someone who is going to put safety above everything else. They're going to succeed in the material world but their emotional life may suffer.
Sooner or later, they dream of finding unconditional and passionate love to compensate for their safe reality. But I think they're also able to understand that they've been loved even if they missed out on it.
You were spot on with the part about the hyper critical parent. I have moon and north node in my first house in Pisces and even to this day, my mom has always been critical of a lot of things. No matter how good the result was, it was just never good enough and she always expected perfection. Things have gotten better and mellowed between me and her as I have grown into adulthood and developed my own sense of self.
Yes they are merely using you as a reflection for what they don't like about themselves, as most parents do. And a distraction from doing their own inner work. They don't typically want you to develop a solid sense of self because it separates from them so they infantilize their children for decades to making it hard for the child to become truly independent and detach from any trauma bonds
My N Node is in Pisces and when you said hyper critical parent I went "My stepmother... really? I had 4 parents, 2 bio and 2 step, and it was the step-parent? O_O That's interesting."
This all tracks. I started crying at the spiritual stuff. My Lilith is in the 12th house. (My N Node is in my 5th house, which is in Aquarius which is also my sun sign). And I have religious trauma. But I am spiritual, but i've struggled with it my whole life.
Also, i'm a writer and working on writing a fantasy novel! It's hard but I love writing stories. N Node in Pisces in the 5th house ACTIVATE :)

Wow, you guys just hit on something I haven't heard in most north node/south node videos. Most of them have all these negative things to say about Virgo south node being so "controlling" or "nit picky"...and being a south node Virgo conjuction my moon in the 5th house I just didn't relate to that. I mean yes I am self critical 💯..but I dont feel overly critical of others, which you guys explained perfectly! Also the idea of blending the energies and how powerful that can be gave me alot of hope! Not just the idea that the south node is "bad" and don't operate that way anymore, but instead the concept to join the two made so much sense! Thank you!

Everything you said is so true! I have North Node Pisces in the 4th house and South Node Virgo in the 10th and I feel that I need to retreat into my own world a lot to find meaning away from the material world..

I have this nn and sn in the 7th and and the 1st. So am i suposed to be teaching the people close to me about how magical life is?
If so, I do this all the time! Life is truly magical.
But i am very critical of myself, to the point that i hated myself. So i have recently started to tell myself, "people make mistakes, so do i" " mistakes happen" " you deseve love" and so far its working.

I have this condition lol. Its immensely difficult since I have a Capricorn sun, virgo moon and Taurus rising. I am very much an earth sign n pisces pulls me in a diff direction resulting in an absolute mess.

Secondly, my general advice when it comes to the differences found between whole sign and placidus is to decide which system resonates more for you. Experiment with having each of those placements as your highest growth and follow whichever seems to serve you better. I follow the placidus system personally
