If you’re scoring mostly around the rim, at that volume you better be over 50% if you’re anyone on the floor. He shouldn’t have bragged about 42 point with 34 shots taken. We’ve seen Russ this year on a team with actual expectations and his shooting decisions were terrible even when not against substantial defense. No one told every team “let Russ have everything over 10 feet away” because of what Pat Bev said. They just watched him and realized it.
Pat Bev certainly has some dirty/low blow play for sure. I think he plays good defense at his size. KD didn’t expose him; KD is KD.
