most non-lifters and non-powerlifters never fully understand the psychological and emotional impact that the sport and the activity has on us lifters as individuals, especially when you are not able to do it. i went through this with a herniated disc...It seems like sometimes our safe place and, like you say, "the place that lifts me up" is easily dismissed and misunderstood by others outside of this space because to them it's "just going to the gym" and "you should go get a life", not so different from something like video games (in moderation) actually...everyone has their escape.
bro im same age as you I been thinking about jumping on for ages to regain that spark but still not sure if its the solution of its just a case of time catches up with everyone. It goes from trying to be strong and fit to trying to be strong and fit as a 40/50/60+ year old. I feel 22 in the mind still but 82 in the body lol
@@kingpinsbarbershop4669 yeah the things he described resonated with me except I’m 52 so in my case it may be time. I pulled my back in April and it took 5 weeks and I went in to soon I think and pulled my back on 6/28 but this second time it’s not as bad and it’s healing at a normal rate this time. I avoided squats this week and drive with a belt. I know my T is not what is it before as I don’t get morning wood and don’t holler at girls anymore. I’m married but that didn’t stop me from hollering at girls in my 30s

You didn’t add the workouts on this one
More likely, your GH is lower rather than low T.
