Yes! I want you to see my favorite places. There are two buses a day from Nagoya Station to Gujo Hachiman. It's a little difficult for foreigners. But if you have a google map, it's probably okay. The season from May to October is my recommended. Good luck!😁

Yeah.Usually the Koi here stay against the strong water flow. They only start to move when they find food.

Is it true that Japanese don't eat this colour full fish .. they say some people's pray to this fish as god

Sorry for the late response. Japanese people never eat coloured koi. We eat a lot of sea fish, but not so much river fish.

koi fish are very strong fish. Also, this canal is carefully managed by the residents, so there should be no problems.(^^)

and they say koi ponds need to be at least 4 foot deep for koi to thrive lol, just goes to show its all about water movement and quality!!!.

Would love to be able to see this. Which month of the year would be the best time to visit?

Thank you for watching. There are no carps during the winter. The carp is active and the scales are beautiful from May to November. The water becomes muddy after heavy rain. Mid-June to mid-July is the rainy season in Japan and should be avoided. Summer in Japan is very hot so be careful!

Yeah😁 Black koi is eaten in some parts of Japan. But I don't like it very much because it has a lot of bones.
