My family is Gujarati and my mum would oil my hair as a child ALL the time! But as I got older I wouldn't do it as much and my hair would become thinner. Definitely a big part of my routine! Loved seeing your routine Kaushal! ❤️

OMG I tried this hair oiling technique and I'm really really grateful to you for this simple video! I've always struggled with oiling my hair, it always seems like a messy and tiring procedure. But this technique is quick and easy and it ensures the roots get all the nourishment.
I even used this technique on my Mum and it took barely 5-7 mins to oil her entire hair. Thank you so much! Adulting is hard and I'm glad you helped me out.

Thank you so much for this!!! I lose a lot of hair due to stress and like most people this day and age, my hair also suffers from heat damage and chemical damage from getting perms. I have started to try hair oiling, which I learned from you and Michelle of Ranavat. I never actually knew what I was supposed to be doing, so tips like sectioning hair or massaging ur scalp or putting it in a braid!! I just did it very randomly. I’m gonna try ur tips this week!! Hi Kaush, I generally love your content but I find this video a bit strange as on one hand you're showing a great technique to oil hair (to nourish and protect it) but then you're promoting hair treatments that damage hair. Maybe less damage than traditional hair straighteners but still cause stress to our hair...
Love your content. But recently noticed you are posting very high end unaffordable products, would love to see more dupes or more affordable but good quality products x
Your hair looks great! 😍 I just had a simple question... Don't you think straightening your hair after oiling reduces the purpose of the oiling itself i.e nourishing and reviving dead hair because we're again using heat on the hair 🤔

I’ve purchased both Fable and Mane and the Ranavat hair oil. I found that the scent of the F&M hair oil is way too strong, as well as more oily and greasy. The Ranavat hair oil smells soooooo good and is lighter weight. I could only oil my hair once with F&M before needing to wash. Whereas I’m able to oil my hair 3 days in a row using Ranavat and my scalp still isn’t greasy. I found that the Ranavat hair oil smells like the attar used for prayers at Mandir. It is my all time most fave scent. I’m a super fan 💜 - Christine

Good video Kaushal as always- quick question do you ever use actual indian brands ( I know Ranavat is) but I mean Vatika for instance? I know they have reformulated everything and taken out all the parabens and mineral oil- it would be fun if you do a full Vatika video - so people can understand how to use the various oils from someone who is actually Indian and possibly grew up having the brand in the house. I hear their new Hair masks are to die for and very cheap.

@@pastelcraze5008 yes the ordinary one! I also recommend a good vitamin C serum for the morning :)
And in case you also have big pores or oily skin, niacinamide is great too (and also helps with the uneven skintone!) I just dont recommend the ordinary niacinamide because the zinc makes many people break out.
The most important thing is to use spf 30 or above every single morning 🌥

Sis , for ladies with more delicate hair the way you showing us how you rubbing your hand against the hair could cause more damage then good… also not everyone can applying oil on the scalp , it often causing increase in falling outs , oil should be mostly applied on the length and ends . At last, before washing of your hair with oil on it , you have to first apply conditioner- then wash - conditioner , instead washing your hair twice with shampoo. Ladies with delicate, damaged hair pls be gentle.

Try extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil. It works just as good, if not better.

I've oiling (pure coconut oil, ayurvedic hair oils) from a small age. Still I started getting premature grey hair from late teenage onwards.
I don't use any hair tools but got exposed to sunlight a lot

You have beautiful hair but you are way too rough with it while oiling. Just be a bit more gentle and you’ll see how much less hair falls out in the shower.

The elvital schampoo and leave-in are full of silicons - that's just not good for the hair!
It's a myth that Silicones are bad for hair ( as per dermatologists)
@@serahemy7 i heard it from a lot of hairstylists. And you can read it everywhere. They just build a layer around the hair but don't nourish them. It's like make-up.
