    You are doing well, but addition of aqueous Ammonia and sodium hydroxide are not confirmatory test for Lead

    • @ChemEasy_Eko
      @ChemEasy_Eko  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. I said that because KI was not in the instructional material which react with lead to give a bright yellow ppts, nor was Na2S there which also react with lead to give a black ppts. Actually they might ask them to add potassium dichromate to give a bright yellow ppt

      V2 = 500cm³
      15.9M x V1 = O.1M x 500cm³
      V1 = 3.1cm³ (Measure 3.1cm³ of HNO3 and add to about 400cm³ of distilled water and then dilute it to 500cm³ with distilled water)
      4. Ammonia NH3 (0.1M of 35% NH3 in 500cm3)

    • @ChemEasy_Eko
      @ChemEasy_Eko  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's the molar concentration of the stock acid solution. You get it by calculating the conc. Of the stock solution using a combination of the percentage purity, molar mass and density. If you want to learn more on it drop ur Whatsapp number n I ll send u a dm

    • @ChemEasy_Eko
      @ChemEasy_Eko  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dissolve 1g of calcium hydroxide in 1000cm³ of water, mix properly and allow it to stand for several hours or overnight. Then carefully pour out the clear solution through a filter paper. The filtrate is your lime water.

    I want to ask if the residue you added HNO3 is the one you added other reagents. Or you added other reagents to the residue directly?

    • @ChemEasy_Eko
      @ChemEasy_Eko  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is the residue I added the HNO3 directly
