You shouldnt use the 1st ability of the bandit to sneak attack since it isnt an actual sneak attack so it doesnt have the sneak attack multiplier. You're also not getting the sneak attack damage bonus from the fire dagger. A more efficient way to kill the mimic in the shipyard is to sneak attack it with the rogue's first ability and then using the 2nd ability to reset it and repeat.
