I just reached 100 charmander candies, been walking with it for the most part. I've caught 6 charmanders in total and gotten txo in eggs. The rest I walked. 270km of walking. Of course the event helped, but only for the last 3 candies. The rest were 3km per candie. I'm feeling pretty darn proud of this accomplishment.
hi guys I collected them at Regional Park in Fullerton/Buena Park in Orange County, CA. Took me about 45 Km of walk. First I was not used to finding them but I kinda got used to them and speed of collecting them went up.
I'd recommend going somewhere you can go to often. I tend to find a lot of charmanders in the same location that I found them before. If you know those places, you'll know where to look every time you see one.

I can almost evolve my charmeleon but he's only 368 so I'm just going to evolve my 496 charmander and then try getting a little more charmander candies to evolve into charizard, I really want to evolve my charmeleon just so I don't need to get the extra 25 candies but I guess it'll be worth the wait
Sorry to say it but just a little tip. Upgrade charmander first and then evolve to charizard. Because if you did that you would have got a charizard Cp. 1300 now just a tip to next time😀👍🏼

Oh man. When I was in Kildare in ireland there was a charizard on my sightings even a pikachu I didn't have any of those Pokemon, I am so mad.
I go to alondra park its basically a growlithe and charmander nest. and there's a ton of new Pokemon there's always lures at those Pokestops
