Yes that is what I was thinking as well; great for people with hand mobility issues. I love how quickly it blended that foundation! Added to my wishlist!
For years now I automatically hit the ❤ button before even watching! ❤❤❤ I already know I’m going to love Em’s videos even if it’s just her sitting in silence for 25 minutes!
I have had some of my Real Techniques brushes for over 10 years and they are still going strong! Love to see the new ones they are coming out with, too. Thanks for your thorough review. ❤
Thanks for sharing the new Real Technique brushes. Enjoyed the video, hope to see you use the brushes more and tell us what's worth giving a try.👍🤗💋❤️❗
That double sided puff reminds me of the beauty blender blotterazzi, which people loved for blotting away oil without taking off the makeup with it. Maybe you could try using it like that for us?
I have a few little fingertip sponges like that from a different brand and I like to use them as a barrier for when I’m doing eyeliner so I can rest my pinky on my cheek when doing my non-dominant side for more stability. If I use a little sponge/puff, I won’t get marks from my hand on my face :) just an alt way of using them since I don’t love them for concealer
The shape of the puff case...vibing on an old school change holder. The soft plastic ones that you squeezed to open, kinda looked like talkin' lips!! The good old days 😂🎉
Love RT brushes. My all-time favorite is the expert face brush. It does it all, from foundation to blush and highlighter, especially the cream formulas. Im definitely intrigued by the highlighter brush.
I truly love real technique brushes. I’ve had some brushes that were quite expensive Smashbox, Lancome, etc. and I love my real techniques they clean up well and they hold up good.
I regularly use the the 259 for foundation. It is a really good brush for applying foundation quickly and evenly. I often reach for it over my Sigma foundation brushes. I've found Real Techniques face brushes to be excellent brushes. Not always a fan of their eye brushes but their face brushes get regular use.
My favorite old school RT brushes are the fluffy blush brush, the crease brush, and the setting brush. The crease and setting brushes are so versatile.
I’m here to make a case for the spatula! I got a random one on Amazon after seeing it being used on TikTok and now I use it literally EVERY DAY! It’s amazing for spreading out a super thin layer all over the face before going in to blend. I use the cover girl red cap foundation, one pump across the spatula and spread it over my face like butter on toast. Then blend with an ecotools sponge (the green one swirly one) and I’ve got a great base that’ll last all day! I’m a teacher and I’ve been dealing with some substantial acne so I need full coverage and long wear (10-11 hours), and this has been doing the trick for a few months now! 😊 Also, spreading the foundation on with the spatula is fun and kinda therapeutic feeling because the spatula is cool to the touch.
I wanted her to talk about the spatula so bad! I love new makeup tools and seeing how different people incorporate them into their makeup applications!
I love brush reviews. I remember the days when this type of review was all over TH-cam. How about doing a brush cleaning review? Especially since several of these brushes are so dense and that type can be very hard to get clean.
Hi Emily just want to say your look todsy is fabulous! Your skin looks phenomenal! I love all of these brushes. Use the tiny sponges and the small square brush on the eyes for cream shawdow and any base products. The large contour brush would be great for body bronzing and sunless tan products! Awesome video as always!❤
While shopping in TX, we went in store called Popshelf. They carry a very large assortment of Belief beauty products. They actually had more than any DG store I have seen. It appears that Popshelf also has them online. Just FYI to see if there is a Popshelf near you. I was amazed at the items available. I could kick myself for not buying more.
I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday and instantly got sad...until I realized it was the next best thing.... an Emily video day!! Hope you have a great day
I used to have the old style foundation brush, but recently I decided to buy one of those flat top brushes and I really love it, so I've bought a second, and tossed the old style out. I have used the smaller foundation brush has the gold handle, and a short handled one that I use in my travel set, but I find it good for bronzer now, get the neater application... great brushes.👍👍
I was at Super Target last night and saw a bunch of new Revolution makeup & thought, Emily would LOVE these little eyeshadow palettes 😂 I got one called Stripped Khaki and it is SO up your alley ❤
Have you tried their highlighter? I saw a video today saying the Revolution Beam Bright Highlighter in shade of pink seduction was the best at the drugstore. I’ve gotten away from highlight but thought I might pick it up. It looks like the Rare Beauty so gently 😂
Suggestions for the tiny finger pads puffers lol.... I got some at dollar tree and use them with my Translucent setting powder for my concealer. I have small eyes so they work well.
ELF used to make a flat top brush in the Studio Line that was $3. I loved it so much l bought 6 of them. Not sure they still make it but l still have them
Thanks, Emily! I am always drawn to these new pretty sets, lol. I wonder if the sponges would work well on facial concealing like scarring or melasma? Pushing the product in without much swiping? Love that smaller highlight brush, too.
the spatula and concealer puffs are definitely korean makeup inspired!!! I'm surprised to see RT releasing them since there are so many Korean brands, and unbranded ones you can get for cheap. The concealer puff is like a mini version of the puffs that come with cushion foundations, and if you look up videos on korean foundation routines with makeup spatulas there's plenty of videos showing how to use it!
Ive been keeping one in my purse for on the go touching up, at dollar tree I found this little correcting pen balm and just have it attached to that, right there, together perfectly like a set, if anything starts looking thick, cakey, sweaty, too dry I use this method and it's awesome!! You know when you flip down that car mirror and your horrified at something lol ❤
I love RT brushes, suspect the bases brushes will be too big for me to use well. I have a small face and features, find smaller brushes more effective. I like the idea of the carry case with mirror for the sponge, but it's not available in the UK yet unfortunately.
I just discovered the elf contour brush. It's the shape of the RT one but it's like half wide so you get a very precise application instead of trying to make this one to work.
I enjoy watching the different uses for these tools, I never am quite sure how to utilize the unique shapes ✌🏼 I think the finger sponge would be good for color correcting spots like blemishes, kind of dab on some green on the blemish kind of thing.
You are the ONLY TH-camr that I LOVE, Everything you do & have to watch everything and support!!! Your topics and content are always YOUR IDEAS , and truly what I think US drugstore girls really CARE about!!!! We think very similarly and have very similar ideas & interests!! This is important!! We've been needing some new brushes in the drugstore, I was just thinking about this after your last brush video!! We have very competitive makeup available to us now compatible to high end and I was thinking where's the brush dupes, where's the competitive brush quality etc. still to this day, I can never find any puffs at Walmart only a new, new technique puff I just got a couple weeks ago... I did find puffs at dollar tree heart shaped that are great!!!! I went brush hunting on Amazon after that last brush video and have some of these new exciting brushes in my cart already, on there Amazon store they have some other really cool ones, a skincare set, along with tons of other unique options, Glad to see them trying. Elf has some great ones as well!!! 🎉🎉❤❤
Hi Emily. I hope all is well, and that your Dad continurs to heal. I saw these new brush sets in Target last night. I did not buy them, frankly because of the "chonk" factor. I hope they de-set them so individual items can be purchased.
Em, great review on these brushes and puffs. The big brush for applying foundation looked very promising. I am with you on the small brush. I know what you can do with those under eye puffs-it would be perfect for house shoes for kittens!! 😂 Love you Em, always fresh content 💜💜💄💄🐾🐾
I ❤ RT brushes!! Definitely gonna get the set w/spatula... I realized when watching you, the time of blending was shorter.. so for me, that's saving time when I'm in a rush too get ready.. Thx for reviewing them😊
Thinking of the brush U used 4 highlighter - I can't remember what the brush is called or the brand, but Allie Glines (I THINK it's her) has 1 that's similar shaped. The bottom comes 2 more of a point than the 1 U used. It's kinda fan shaped & she uses it 4 contouring the sides of her nose. Maybe try using that brush like that @ some point.
The number 100 looks like a thicker version of the sephora concealer brush that is always sold out. I wonder if it works as well as the elf concealer brush?
That foundation brush looks like a winner to me. Might have to give that a go. The only other one that really caught my attention was the highlighter brush. My 2 favorites to try of the bunch. Thank you 😘
That little concealer puff reminds me of the puffs they put in to use with cushion foundations? I have one that I actually LOVE to use for the powder when setting my under eyes, it gives me such a smooth finish! I also would try that “kitten paw” brush they recommended to use with cream highlight or blush for my liquid or cream concealer. Just a few thoughts, I always love and appreciate your thorough reviews! 💜
I get so excited when I see a new video from you Emily! You always have good information and your looks are gorgeous! I especially like today's look❤😊🎉
Hey Emily thanks for so many lovely videos!! I'm watching you on my special Leap Year's birthday!! I only get a birthday every 4 years. and I'm relaxing with your video after watching my grandbabies today .🥳♥
I just adore you. You always have the BEST videos that are relevant to us your loving audiençe. By the way, I ordered that Natasha Denona palette. My first Natasha Denona. The color selection just spoke to me and I decided to celebrate Spring with bright new colors. Thank you for being you, and all of your hard work,
foundation spatulas have been very big in Korea for some time now! there's a specific way to use them correctly so i suggest looking up some youtube videos :)
Enjoyed your video, as always. You seem so pleasant to watch and your reviews, no matter what it is, are quite detailed (why you like/don’t), and very sincere and honest.
Hi Emily, I like the little triangle ones from Amazon too. I like Real Techniques brushes but I love hearing your reviews on the new ones. Thanks for a wonderful video and I enjoyed it very much. Your look was very pretty and we love you too Emily. Prayers and Blessings to you and your family.🥰❤💜💗🏵🌹🌺🥀💐
Hi Emily, thank you for your video 🙏 I'm kind of obsessed with makeup brushes and I would collect them all!!! I also love the n. 261, even if I don't use bronzers... It's so big that it can be used as a foundation brush, in my opinion... 🙄 My favourite is the pink one 🌺
I just picked up the Expert Face Brush and then come home and see this! I got it for contour and I’m glad I did. I could tell right away that the new one would be too big. The brush you used for highlight resembles the Hot and Flashy one for concealer. Or is it bigger? Everyone seems to love that brush but I haven’t tried it.
I bought an IT brush for Ulta and I really like it. It is similar to the dense flat brush. RT is a standout makeup tool brand. Funny enough I went old school today…I used my fingers to spread my foundation and it looks sooooo good. I’ve got those bumps on my forehead and I’m wondering if my brushes are bacteria filled despite me cleaning them.
I got that small concealer brush in a limited edition nude set but found it prickly? Real Technique makes the best brushes & and sponges, though. And lots of uniqueness and variety 👌🏾😍✨️
RT has been a long time favorite brand of mine not only for the price but the quality has been excellent as well. Brush videos are great! Could you use that little orange thing for setting powder just in that area? I appreciate it when you explain how and why.
I have a few Real Techniques brushes and I do love them. What I don't love is the thickness of the handles. I don't have a ton of space and they are hard to store. That being said, I can see how the chunkier handles could be great for people with more mobility issues or grip issues. Pros and cons. I wish they'd sell that cream highlighter brush individually though. I'm not in need for the other steps with that set...
I like some RT brushes just wish the handles were slimmer, it’s hard to store the chunky handles, they take up so much room. Very interesting brush shapes. I love the purple handle set.❤❤
I had seen the pastel brushes at my local ulta and almost picked them up . I’m so glad 😀 you’re reviewing these products. Hard candy 🍭 just came out with the Girl Scout cookies products. Can you please 🙏 review that.
The contour brush you didn’t like, I think that would be a great liquid blush brush!! The pointy one is good.. but the contour one looks better!! Also.. the small square one looks like the best acne spot concealer brush!
I have the pastel pop set and I got it because of the cream blush brush and also the 'foundation' brush but I ended up liking the little square one the most. I use it for the concealer around my brows and its perfect for that. I don't love how that one blends out my undereye though. Also I didn't love the foundation brush either but its not terrible
Driving me nuts they're not in Australia yet. Wanted the chunky one but shipping was $25. Oooooh she's bigger than I thought! I want something denser than a black hole to try w/powder foundation. Pile it on thick 'n fast. Highlight one looks a bit like Rare Beauty cheek ones. The mini-concealer looks like a dupe for my KVD concealer brush and I dislike it.
the chonky brush is so smart. to have a wider handle makes it more inclusive for those of us with altered capacity to grip! great review 🥰
Yes that is what I was thinking as well; great for people with hand mobility issues. I love how quickly it blended that foundation! Added to my wishlist!
Pushing lovingly on the ❤ before I even watch ... it's Emily so I KNOW it will be honest, informative and fun! 🤗
Aww thank you!! ❤
For years now I automatically hit the ❤ button before even watching! ❤❤❤ I already know I’m going to love Em’s videos even if it’s just her sitting in silence for 25 minutes!

Always great quality!
Thanks for sharing the new Real Technique brushes. Enjoyed the video, hope to see you use the brushes more and tell us what's worth giving a try.👍🤗💋❤️❗
Great eye look Emily!
I still have ones that have the rubber handle...which were dust magnets. Glad I found a way to remove the sticky coating.
@@JamaicanCola how did you do it? Mine are getting kind of sticky with age.
That double sided puff reminds me of the beauty blender blotterazzi, which people loved for blotting away oil without taking off the makeup with it. Maybe you could try using it like that for us?
That first flat top brush you showed is a game changing shape to pack on powder if you’re oily.

The "profound thought" in your videos help me get through. Thank you, Emily. 😊
My favorite old school RT brushes are the fluffy blush brush, the crease brush, and the setting brush. The crease and setting brushes are so versatile.

I wanted her to talk about the spatula so bad! I love new makeup tools and seeing how different people incorporate them into their makeup applications!
The 260 brush would work very well with powder foundation. It reminds me of the Tarte brush that is similar. Brush hairs are short and very dense.
Love RT brushes! Thanks for showing us some of their newest styles/selection, Emily!
I love brush reviews. I remember the days when this type of review was all over TH-cam. How about doing a brush cleaning review? Especially since several of these brushes are so dense and that type can be very hard to get clean.
Great idea…I struggle to get foundation off my brushes.
I get those little small pads at Dollar Tree, and I use it to set powder under my eyes not concealer. I think I get four in around clear compact.
Love that you're always honest with us. We can always rely on you. ❤ I have bought so many of your recommendations over the year!😊
I appreciate the thorough and honest review, Emily.
The little fingertip sponge is nice for undereye setting powder!
MORE on drugstore brushes 🙏🏽💕

I was thinking little square brush could do nose contour too 😊
Good point. Small and controllable.
I have it and I love it for blending out the concealer around my brows but I will have to try it with nose contour also
And for tiny spot concealing!
I see it as good to cover dark spots & pimples.
I wonder if the concealer‘sponge’ might work for applying powder to the under eye?
I'm in love with my purple concealer brush, it's so dense.
I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday and instantly got sad...until I realized it was the next best thing.... an Emily video day!!
Hope you have a great day
Aww thank you for spending some of your day with me!
I love a new brush video 🙌🏻
yay!
I love Real Technique. The look is GORGEOUS ❤❤
me too :D

Suggestions for the tiny finger pads puffers lol.... I got some at dollar tree and use them with my Translucent setting powder for my concealer. I have small eyes so they work well.
That big chonky foundation brush may be good for folks with fine motor difficulties!
I'm travelling to the US next month. Can I please request the must buys from Ulta and Sephora? Thank you
ELF used to make a flat top brush in the Studio Line that was $3. I loved it so much l bought 6 of them. Not sure they still make it but l still have them

Interesting, I will have to look into this!
I use swiping motion with the little sponge concealer under my eyes. Works really well.
Ive been keeping one in my purse for on the go touching up, at dollar tree I found this little correcting pen balm and just have it attached to that, right there, together perfectly like a set, if anything starts looking thick, cakey, sweaty, too dry I use this method and it's awesome!! That tapered brush in the set kind of reminds me of your Morphe bullet brush you use for brushing away under eye powder.
I miss their Insta-Pops you told us about. But the ones I bought are still going strong. Thank you!
I still love my real technique brushes so much, mostly the face brushes bc the eye brushes are scratchy so I use fude there - love this video! tfs
Those little pads I would use under the eye for baking 😊
I love RT brushes, suspect the bases brushes will be too big for me to use well. I have a small face and features, find smaller brushes more effective. I like the idea of the carry case with mirror for the sponge, but it's not available in the UK yet unfortunately.
I use real techniques brushes and I appreciate your honest opinions of those products. Luv you
Emily I needed to hear your sweet voice. I think I’m gonna be alright now! 🤗
Aw!! Virtual hugs to you ❤❤
I just discovered the elf contour brush. It's the shape of the RT one but it's like half wide so you get a very precise application instead of trying to make this one to work.
Hi em!!!!!! I hope this weeks been good to you. Praying for your dad . Sending you love and positivity ❤❤
I enjoy watching the different uses for these tools, I never am quite sure how to utilize the unique shapes ✌🏼 I think the finger sponge would be good for color correcting spots like blemishes, kind of dab on some green on the blemish kind of thing.

Em you should review the new Hard Candy Girl Scouts line! They have a chocolate brown mascara I’m excited about 🎉
Hi Emily. I hope all is well, and that your Dad continurs to heal. I saw these new brush sets in Target last night. I did not buy them, frankly because of the "chonk" factor. I hope they de-set them so individual items can be purchased.
I got the flat top brush and i really am enjoying it!!
it's so fast! :D
I adore their brushes , the 407 mini multitasker is my fave❤️.
I feel like maybe the big sculpting brush would be better used for body contour?
I would love to see a video on your current favorite drugstore/affordable makeup brushes.
Thank you, Emily! I appreciate your thoughtful content. 💖
Thanks Angela!
Getting my Emily fix. I have to use a spatula to apply makeup on clients so these look like great kits. One of each for my kit maybe❤❤
Em, great review on these brushes and puffs. The big brush for applying foundation looked very promising. I am with you on the small brush. I know what you can do with those under eye puffs-it would be perfect for house shoes for kittens!! 😂
Love you Em, always fresh content 💜💜💄💄🐾🐾
I have a rounded buffer brush that has a decent amount of mobility for a medium coverage. The pointed dense brush for the crème products looks useful.
I ❤ RT brushes!! Definitely gonna get the set w/spatula... I realized when watching you, the time of blending was shorter.. so for me, that's saving time when I'm in a rush too get ready.. Thx for reviewing them😊
YAY can’t wait to see the VLOG! 😊
You should try the little finger sponge with cream blushes, Emily! And the spatula is wonderful for applying thin layers of foundation.
I think that Real Techniques have the best brushes at good prices. I've come to prefer them over other brands.
May have to check these out. Always looking for the best brush that does the job quickly.
The number 100 looks like a thicker version of the sephora concealer brush that is always sold out. I wonder if it works as well as the elf concealer brush?
Hi Em, thanks for another great video! Could you use the baby puff to apply powder under the eyes? You look gorgeous!
Happy Birthday 🥳
Thanks, Em, for keeping it real…techniques! 😂
I have used the 2 in 1 puff. Enjoy it for touch ups. Enjoy many brushes from real techniques brand.
I just adore you. You always have the BEST videos that are relevant to us your loving audiençe. By the way, I ordered that Natasha Denona palette. My first Natasha Denona. The color selection just spoke to me and I decided to celebrate Spring with bright new colors. Thank you for being you, and all of your hard work,
Oh thank you so much for your kind words!! I really and truly appreciate it. And I hope you love your ND palette as much as I do! ❤
Thanks for another honest review. What do you think the 259 one compare to the 200 buffer brush from RT?
foundation spatulas have been very big in Korea for some time now! there's a specific way to use them correctly so i suggest looking up some youtube videos :)
Enjoyed your video, as always. You seem so pleasant to watch and your reviews, no matter what it is, are quite detailed (why you like/don’t), and very sincere and honest.

Your look was very pretty and we love you too Emily. Prayers and Blessings to you and your family.🥰❤💜💗🏵🌹🌺🥀💐
Thank you for affordable brush reviews and tutorial!
Hi Emily, thank you for your video 🙏 I'm kind of obsessed with makeup brushes and I would collect them all!!! I also love the n. 261, even if I don't use bronzers... It's so big that it can be used as a foundation brush, in my opinion... 🙄
My favourite is the pink one 🌺

Hey Emily are you using a cream for dark circles under your eyes because I’m having such a hard time for dark circles
Would the dual sided puff be good for sunscreeen mid day reapplication over makeup? And then turn over to the other side to set with powder?
Love that bubble brush 😍
I want it so bad!
RT has been a long time favorite brand of mine not only for the price but the quality has been excellent as well. Brush videos are great! Could you use that little orange thing for setting powder just in that area? I appreciate it when you explain how and why.
I absolutely love this video idea!! Very helpful :)
I have seen on TH-cam, a lady used the tiny sponge with powder under the eyes.
Hi Emily! The link to the powder puff bring me to a headband on ulta, can you give me the link to the puffs please? Thank you!
Love your channel! You always give great reviews! I have many RT brushes! These are an interesting bunch- that highligyhter blush? 🙆
I have a few Real Techniques brushes and I do love them. What I don't love is the thickness of the handles. I don't have a ton of space and they are hard to store. That being said, I can see how the chunkier handles could be great for people with more mobility issues or grip issues. Pros and cons.
I wonder if the duo sponge/puff would work with Mally Face Defender. Having that case would be nice when you toss it in a bag.
The double-sided sponge with the case is great for blotting and applying powder on the go for us oily gals . I have one but mine came without a case 😢
Oh that first one looks like a dupe for the amazing tarte foundation brush I’ve used every day for years. Will blend out anything.
