The other day someone made a video on how the BMP-2m was overpowered at it's current state, and that was BEFORE the darts were added.
It's been ridiculously OP since it was added to the game. It's insane, and when you got an 8.7 game with it, holy shit. Took out 4 11.0 tanks in 3 seconds... and now it's even better. The move in BR doesn't bother me as I already almost only play it 10+.

My entire Japanese 8.0-9.3 lineup is now completely and utterly done for. First the nerfs, now a bmp2m that can pen every single vehicle I use with backup 1200mm missiles that can be fired on the move and multiple at the same time.
As a Japan main, im ok with the current status we in. It's alot of pain, but we had our fun when our vehicles were the broken ones from the Chi-Nu II/Chi-Rii release to the Type 10. But for now we dive back into the ocean of PAIN.

Same with the typical 8.3 french line up, nothing got much armour and nothing comes with a stab. The Brenus got ERA that can't stop those modern missiles and the jammer don't work against it. At least this is a good training, because you need skill to do anything

The 9040s in sweden have 143mm of pen with 24 rounds and WAY less ammo/belt and no ATGMs with the exception of the BILL, and yet my IFVs get moved up to 10.0 but the BMP-2M with 4 1200mm penning rockets that fire on the move with this new belt only goes to 9.3. Seems legit.

It's insane that this thing is at 9.3 while the Strf 9040 BILL just got uptiered to 10.0 while not being able to fire on the move, has to deply the launcher and doesn't have a stabiliser when driving over 15kph. SO STUPID GAIJIN!

@@majo3488 that’s an exact proof to my point - PLSS is a German tank with an upgrade package designed and manufactured by Germans, only ordered and funded by Sweden. It’s 0.03% Swedish and thus is good.

The proximity missiles are even better, both AT and AA. Helicopters stand no chance.
Then with the SU-7 BMK, take the big rockets, it has rockets computer and they are super accurate, can hit targets from 4km+ out.

I just want to know how Gaijin thought this was a valid change. The fact that 2-3 of these thing can basically win a game BY THEMSELVES is ridiculous and now games are basically 50% full of these things. It almost makes playing actual tanks worthless. Why play something with armor if a rocket ship can blast your barrel off then circle and kill you without any way of fighting it.
They care about money, they increase sales/profits by creating metas, so many people who don't have the bmp 2m will spend GE to instantly get it. They very well perfectly know that it will be overpowered and that's what they are counting on.

it has the same apfsds round as the m3a3 bradley essentially but with a higher fire rate, bigger gun, way better mobility, can fire its atgms on the move and all the smoke and grenade launcher, yet its the same br as the m3a3
the mobility of bmp 2m is worst than the m3 bradley and the m3a3 can shot when u are behind cover
@@mariomartella9181 the mobility is only slightly worse than the Bradley and those top down missles are highly overestimated, it takes 2 or 3 of the Tow2b missles to destroy a tank
tow wiesel got up to 9.7 (no smoke dischargers) but this thing is at 8.7/9.3. with better thermals, fast canon with apdfs and 4 fast fire atgms with better penetration, fire on the move and fast reloading. Warthunder pro russian BS

See this is the problem though, after the dart update, I went into a 10.3 game with my friend Moonshot, and literally every single tank on our team was a BMP 2M....
And we still lost.
And that is what Gaijin is seeing, how many times the vehicle dies per game compared to how well it does with someone who knows what they are doing. It's the object 120 issue all over again.
People getting something and playing it like they are immortal, but they arnt, and it shows. People play it, die, and leave.
So annoying seeing your whole team die once and leave. Love games that take 15-20 minutes where ppl take every tank in their lineup and go full objective
@@turbodutch I would love to have a full lineup at top tier but it's unaffordable for some people. At higher tiers I mostly bring one MBT an an AA. That's it. Training costs are just too high
You shouldn't have to pay for each crew slot separately. Costs are high enough as they are for a single crew

@@filipmakowski9640 it’s crazy when I can pen Russian and Abrams MBTS with the puma, from the front of the tank. Last game I played with it I got like 9 kills and then I just left.
I play this tank as a backup with my 11.0's. there's no difference in how well it does between 8.7 and 11.0. thing is a monster.
I actually saw someone today on Reddit say that it takes a whole 20 seconds to swap missiles in the BMP-2M in a comparison to the Bradley. Except the Bradley needs seconds just to pop out its missiles AND it doesn't get an anti-air missile AND it only gets two missiles that have half the penetration. Like What.

It’s time for gaijin to rethink the BR system from 7.3 and up, it’s also time for gaijin to stop half assing adding vehicles to the game.
Firstly it’s for a Dynamic BR system, BR’s should change depending on what modifications you have unlocked and installed on the tank.
Secondly when adding vehicles, either add it to the game with everything it used or don’t add it at all..
Next is map design my god it’s horrible.

edit: the bradley which also had its tow-2b penetration reduced from 630mm to 100mm so that it cant double as a traditional atgm and a top down atgm anymore so it is useless for direct hits
The funny thing is if you look you can see that the round that the M46 fired actually BOUNCED and hit his gun then exploded. The explosion is what killed you, not the round itself.
Day 203: Phly, you should play the Hawk III Chinese fighter; 900lbs of bombs in a biplane at 1.0 that you can dogfight in after dropping. Totally balanced.

Gaijin knows exactly what they're doing. This vehicle, despite not being a premium, has made them a small fortune. You can just GE it and its modifications. You don't need to grind through the RU tech tree to get it. It's a great little cash cow for them.
That is why we need join the cause of not playing this video game until they start taking in consideration their consumers (us).

@@blackwidowrsa nothing wrong with buying premiums when discounted, they can greatly reduce the time grinding through the tech tree and you always have them. Quite a few premiums have worse stats too. The real issue is the BR system and allowing a full 1.0 leap for matches. Make it so you can at least take a reserve unit that is .3/.7/1.0 higher than what BR you are playing so you at least aren’t completely uptiered. But if you are the uptier iron you don’t get to pull the reserve unit. Or if you take a unit a full 1.0 higher than your playing BR but it’s only a .7 uptier u can’t use it , or something along those lines. Then fair matches… and allow people to choose their maps.

the bmp-2m was already a permanent part of my 10.0 lineup anyway so this BR raise means literally nothing to me, they just made it better.
Another fact about the BMP-2M, it can get ATGMs that are proximity for air targets, I end up being more effective as SPAA than dedicated SAM launchers
In theory. In reality, no MBT in the world (except Russia's) should and would be afraid of these things. The cannon is way off, the ammo cooks off too early or jams, the crew is not trained at all due to Russia's military "experience" (most soldiers are not even two years in service and won't ever be), the engine tends to fail, the armor sometimes does not even stop non-AP .50 cal and once the ammo goes south, this little coffin will take its crew with it. Yeah. Russian technology.
And ATGMs? Russia does not even have guided rockets; their bombers don't have smart bombs at all, KA-52 pilots pull up to shoot in the air with simple unguided rockets, hoping to hit something on the ground once the rockets go down and the US estimates a failure of Russian rocketry of about 60%; explaining the sheer amount of dud bombs and rockets out there.
Currently, Russia is losing a year's max. production of tanks in a week; making it more devastating than any previous encounters in history (Germany lost many but could replace older Panzer III with Panthers and Tigers back then; Russia cannot).
Gaijin just wants to show sympathy for Russia as they are basically Russian (with offices in Moscow and Saint Petersburg).

OK so, could you use the grenade launcher to trick/ exhaust defence systems, like on the black knight? Its pretty much just a ERA breaker at this point. Would maybe give the launcher a use in cqb lol not that the tandem warhead atgm has too much trouble with ERA.
I just discovered an interesting thing: when you point your plane at -5° and drop the bomb about 20-30m above the water, it will bounce about 1 or 2 times about 50m before explode :)))) (I tried with Soviet FAB-100)
considering Strf Bill is 10.0, this thing should be higher because it can fire on the move

You should try XP-55 (4.3) plane in ground RB with M24 (3.7) That plane is my favorite plane by far. Extremely good climb rate and 2x 50cals and 2x 20mm 200 ammo in each gun. And its probably one of the hardest planes to hit due to its size and shape.

Coming from getting killed by missles all the time I researched this tank. After I figured out 99% of tanks can't fire while moving I can't play like that. It's horrible to have to come to a stop to shoot an ATGM

US has had better toys for nearly every br, and each of your planes brings 3x as much bombs and rockets as any soviet or german plane
@@j.t.7264 Germany had the wirbelwind, ostwind, gepard and bagel, US CAS is irrelevant and often out performed by FWs, 335s, arrados, 50mm 262 and the premium do217 and all of the shermans are so uptiered their armor is worthless and they have to track and barrel torture to get kills whilr half the rest of the tanks like the turtle or the M56 are useless gimmicks and everything past that point is undertuned and gets stomped on by BMPs, bagels and slimey italian/french stuff

I’m convinced that when I use BMP everyone in the match loses their brain cells and goes out into the open so I can kill them with BMP.
This thing is crazy i just started researching it. This vehicle should be at 10.0 it would actually do better at 10 because there will be no more 8.7 heavy tanks and everyones armor is pretty much same at high br

You see; when you avoid top tier like the plauge, you don't have face BMPs and PUMAs. Except the 2.7 Puma but that one acutally dies when you shoot it.
puma dies rather easily at 9, that or it's turret bursts into flames and you lose most of your ammo and crew

How do you have a bomb reticle in Ground Realistic
one use of the 30mm launcher is clearing trees for clear line of sight without giving position away since it has no tracers and clearing walls so they dont slow you down when you crash tru them.
i dont have the new belt and neiter use these fuze missiles either the helicopter is hovering so you use the normal one or just brrt it when its close enough.
rewards for it are still absolut garbage for people that unlocked it in order to grind the russian tree. 6-7 kills and it only gains 500 research at times yeah i can feel the bias just flowing tru me.
War Thunder is one of those games where if a cop gets killed in their Tiger II by a HEAT thrower they come and arrest their killer

@JUDE hello mate, im getting clóse to research the Su-22m3 which i really like but i love the BMP-2M too, i haven't even started researching the USSR tech tree, which one do you recomend me the most? Do you recomend me buying other premiums like the T-72 Turms or the Ka-50?
@@juanluiscanetemangas1307 I don’t have the KA 50 but it seems pretty overpowered, everyone says it’s just point and shoot. But if you’re looking to research USSR ground faster then get the TURMS, it’s got armour that HEATFS struggles with and decent forward gear. The only things it lacks is neutral steering and decent reverse speed.

This might be a hot take but I don't consider it OP. It's the easiest thing at 9.3 to kill as long as you see it first. And most engagements at this br and higher is a matter of who sees who first.

Nice just played a round at 2km distance I was spotted by a bmp that was invisible to my thermals ( I was looking right at it and could see nothing with the 10.0 Abrams ) and murdered
I respawn in my xm1 guess where he is direct apfsds shot into ufc/ turret ring and got gunner and hor turret drive them absolutely fucked by 2 1200 mm pen missiles
I think this vehicle needs an APS. Would be even more fun :D
