Great song, done by the right person for it (besides Bob himself). One problem: Not enough people yowled "Whoo!" We need more "Whoo's!" so we know where the crazy cattle are....and so we can't hear the song itself.
Jerry Garcia did Dylan better than anyone .. No Offense to Ms Williams who does a nice job here .. But Jerry was the King of Dylan covers over many, many years
as Lucinda says, from 5o years of Declaration of Human Rights, 5o years of Bobby Dylan recording; these things come to mind by thinking about what's goin down these very minutes in Syria !!
I don't know ... for me no one else writes songs like this ... being lost in what we find life to be. I heard Lucinda Williams' version on the radio the other night and it deeply impressed me.
Lucinda, either you get her or you don't. She's not for your average, top 40, pop crap lovin', American Idol fan for sure. What soul!
Christ. This is beautiful. Had no idea this had happened. Wowowowowow.
There is no one on the -lancet that can write such deep and empathetic songs.
Absolutely great - I like this more than her tribute on the Amnesty album - Dylan's original version is magnificent, but Lucinda gets so close.
Strong version.

I think it is very important that this was caught on video.. who can do Dylan as well as Dylan can? Lucinda can

Very nice cover.

Feckin marvellous
so great when amazing singers take these magnificent songs and give them the justice they deserve!
Nice version.
Lucinda personal treatment of Bob Dylan's Yom Kippur anthem.
Dylan's a Republican, don't you know!
That is why he enjoys making albums with fellow social conservatives like John Cash.
Small Paul
Nice cover. Yes, the band is in no hurry, as it should be. Sad, laid back and in a contemplative mood.
a good version, but some bob songs were only meant for bob to song...
When Lucinda says : She's been to Sugar Town and shook the sugar down . . . You've got to believe it's true !
I prefer Lucinda,
low energy, really low
its reallly amazing to see how so many people cant play the right chords for this song. a bit strange when coming from a pro band
terrible
