Can someone point out the house of John Johnstone (East India Company) in Alva? Is there a museum now, where he used to live, or? Is there a house anymore? or perhaps in Edinburgh? I would like to visit his house or some museums about him in the near future? thanks
Too many churches and museums. We would really like to see more shopping, entertainment, city squares, restaurants, main streets, and side streets. Ideally we’d like to see more about the people who live in these areas.

excellent video but way too short, these museums could have a multi hour documentary for each one btw the great exhibition made so much money was able to buy land for the Kensington museums and the royal Albert hall

Despite the fact that many of these items were looted while Britain was exploiting the globe for hundreds of years, it is nevertheless impressive to see them being well-preserved and available to observe in central locations. But think I'll pass on the one worshipping a drunken war-mongering criminal who rescued communism from an impending death so it could survive to enslave a continent & cause many decades of turmoil & misery & death...Natural Sciences would have been a better choice to highlight. But a well-produced video, minus the usual political bias!
The British Museum is great, but they really need to give the Elgin Marbles back…at least the caryatid. It’s so sad seeing her sisters in the Acropolis Museum with an empty space where she belongs.
