- District 3 Crime Reduction Unit Deputy Humphrey Ihejirikah and District 2 Patrol Deputy Sustaita are part of a pilot program to train deputies who don’t own their own horses and have limited riding experience to be members of HCSO’s Mounted Patrol Unit.
Mounted Patrol Unit Commander Lt. Adolph has long dreamed of opening the unit up to deputies who are new to horsemanship as a way to be more inclusive and grow the unit into the future.
“I foresee a day that we're not going to have a whole lot of people in the department that even own a horse. So this way we can keep the
tradition alive.”

That man had NO business using spurs being is such poor shape. PLUS: That saddle is way too small for him.
Become a better rider by hitting the ground? Why on earth would they have put that man on that horse? What did the horse learn here? These people have no business even having a mounted unit if this is the way they train horses and riders!
