Hey Em, so sorry to hear you're having problems with your monthlies. Its so lovely for you to speak about it as it seems to be a taboo subject for people to talk about. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 19 it was a long journey to get to the diagnosis but you just have to keep on pushing. The only way they can definitively diagnose Endo is by a Laparoscopy which is keyhole surgery. They cant diagnosed it through ultrasound. I've had a further 3 laparoscopies since being diagnosed as mine is aggressive and just keeps coming back. My last surgery I lost my right ovary and fallopian tube and I have been told I need a hysterectomy. I know a Hyster isn't a cure but the Prostap (Chemically Induced Menopause Injection) worked for me. I am currently pregnant with my first miracle baby after being told I wouldn't conceive because things are so bad. Just don't give up and keep pushing for answers. I hope they can help you and I'm sending you big hugs!xx

Also when you said you were having some problems with your hormones and it was affecting your skin, I actually thought your skin looked amazing in this video. I'm much older than you and I always had so many problems with my periods and hormones. At the age of 50 I decided to try the mirena coil and it has made such a massive difference to me, I wish I had tried it years ago. I'm sure that you have discussed all these options with your consultant and everyone is different but just thought I would mention it. xx
Ooh that is so interesting as I was booked to have the coil and then Covid made it so I couldn't and they put me on the pill in the meantime! I will ask if I can try again x

It's really good that you can still have people in to fit your radiators/blinds etc. In Scotland we can't have any trades in unless it's an emergency. We moved in October and still feel like I'm living in someone else's house, but enjoy seeing the progress of your home for ideas!x

I absolutely LOVE 'How We Met' stories. I remember going around to all of my Aunties when i was a kid and asking them how they met their husbands. I find it soo fascinating... Btw my parents met at a house party in the 70s after one of them gatecrashed! (naughty! haha) 😂

It’s a hostel that’s sorta famous for tricking people into thinking they’re in a normal hotel but they’re actually sharing it with homeless people... there is a Netflix doc on it that just came out this year actually! Emily & Matt, Jackson has got to slow down growing. I have been with you for a while now and I think it was just at or just before Jackson was born. I love watching each video you come out with. Jackson reminds me of my youngest who is now 21 yrs old. My baby is a girl and didn’t really play with dolls because it was more arts and crafts and baking. As she got older it was sewing and cooking with a few other things. She is very unisex with things too. She loved blocks and building things too. Jackson is just growing to quick.
