The truth is bitter but it is necessary. Tough love is important. A wise person will always be grateful when they are advised and corrected.
I have always been a person of day naps, and loved my sleep. But being in Christ has change my Commitment from sleep lover to prayer Commitment...Hav been on a midnight prayer non stop for 3 months, and Romans 5:3-4 " also glory in our sufferings, because suffering produce perseverance, and perseverance character, and character Hope..
God has sustain me to a point I change from being a sleep addicted to Prayer addicted....and I see change in my life...
And the is a change in spiritual realm, becos this wicked are feeding sleeping pills, to over sleep, but fails only,, but God will wake me up 5 minutes before my prayer time with a dream..
This has brought so much change, in my Relationship with God...Amen
A few months ago, myself and wife found ourselves wide awake at 3am, yet we are both heavy sleepers.
We are also following Pastor Kevin's teachings and have watched almost all of them.
After waking up at 3am, we concluded that it was some sort of prompting to wake up and pray. Indeed we woke up and prayed and decided that we would now wake up everyday at 3 to pray.
We have been doing that religiously for the past months, save for one or two days where we would oversleep but prayed at the time we woke up.
So it happened that the morning after listening to this sermon which finished at around 10.30pm South African time, we were fast asleep and obviously missing our appointment with God at 3am.
Lo and behold, my phone automatically tuned to TH-cam and played Kevin's sermon. We woke up to the sound of the sermon which I can not explain how it played. When we checked the time, it was exactly 3am.
We prayed.
We believe that this was confirmation that indeed the 3am prayer is necessary and also believe that the Holy Spirit woke us using Pastor Kevin's sermon.
You know Sir, 40 min into this i realised how committed I am to put off doing that one important thing in my life I know I must do.
Im so busy doing all other things but that one thing. I always say "ill do it some other time"
I never looked at it like this.
Today I divorce myself from that commitment to put off things.

I procrastinated too and made an excuse. Lord, I come out of agreement with procrastination in Jesus Name Amen

Pastor @KevinLAEwing is it ok to do affirmations about yourself ? I do it everyday in the morning and I also “I am” Bible affirmations. I do it in hopes of changing negative thoughts and repeating good thing about who I am. But is it godly ? I just want to be sure.
Self-affirmation is excellent for challenging negative thoughts, especially if those affirmations are bible based.

Hello I’m in need of deliverance from demons. Strongholds, soul ties, marine spirits. Witchcraft white magic black magic in the form of dreams. Generational curses. Every time I try to get closer to God I can never hear his voice. Everytime I try to change my life around for the better something always happens unexplainable. Just seems like nothing gets better. Ive had some sleep paralysis. I felt demons scratching at my body in my sleep, mocking and laughing. I feel my body being tugged in my home. My body my bones my gentiles literally ache. I hear voices in my home. I hear voices in my head . I’m in need of deliverance.
