UK fears fully independent Caribbeans would demand reparations. It might be far fetched, but not impossible to imagine that these former colonies would band together to help the few remaining aborigines of the North America, Australia to get their fair share of living space and reparations for all those genocidal acts their people have suffered for centuries

It lives in a world of Exceptional Empire of Superior Beings and Scattered Servile Inferior Beings. (= parasites and hosts) To treat others as as equal is to destroy their reality = profound defeat. Also, the regime running the USA has as much regard for quality of life in the USA as it has for the quality of life in Ukraine. The US is learning to live with China. And the US is doing this through unfriendly completion.
Using Chinese data and a medium case scenario, the Chinese population has one of the lowest birth rates in the world and will decease from 1.4 billion today to about 750 million in 2100. The worst case scenario is for the population to reach 650 million by 2100. And if these projections hold, there will be more post-65 pensioners in China than workers in ~2085. Consider the implications of that for a moment.
The Shanghai Academy of Social Science (a Chinese think tank) says the 2020 Chinese census was wrong, and that they overcounted by 100 million (that is the population of many countries!). The vast majority of these missing tens of millions were under 40 (e.g. reproductive age) and predominately were women because during One Child families if forced to choose preferred boys. This means there is a gender imbalance.
It's hard to see China being the hegemon of the 21st century with half empty mega cities of pensioners.
In the meantime, according the the UN the population the US will increase from 330 million today to around 400 million by 2100. For all of its faults, the US is a noisy nation of immigrants and we literally are having millions of immigrants who want to come here for economic opportunity. The US population is on average already younger than the average Chinese, and this trend will only get worse for the Chinese as the decades continue. We just need to wait.

Philippines is not part of this emerging multipolar world that bodes progress and security for all countries of the global south. As usual its leadership is forging ahead with its close relationship with the west that has brought nothing to the Philippines but stagnation to the economy and maintained its slavish dependence on the dole outs of the west with so much strings attached that it have remained the sick man of Asia and the pathetic basket case.

He is so wrong on many level. The USA really doesn't care who is number 1, or number 2, or any number. In fact, the USA only cares about itself being safe and self-sufficient while the whole world is falling down. The world is coming into a cycle of chaos and turmoil. The USA is the only country that can be self-sufficient in 3 things: food, fuel, and security, with the natural geography advantegous for self protection. The USA can just fold back into self isolationism and let the rest of the world fight among themselves. Once food and fuel become scarce and prices become over-inflated, the USA will profit. No need to compete with any super power, with or without China.

the diplomatic approach will always be a temporary solution... a potentially extended solution, but, still temporary when you consider the nature of the world and powers, not just these specific powers... America remains the undisputed military might of the world, more or less, but it's becoming more and more 'disputed' by the day... the world found a relative peace, because half the world was cool with the US being in the position it was, and the other half couldn't win anyway, post cold war... at this point, China basically commenced a very interesting economic invasion, the have stakes in a million things across the globe without even raising a weapon for them, and of course like many countries, built up forces back home... the nature of the supremacy of the world being in question, is what creates the potential for conflict... and this comes back to the nature of the world and the consideration of power... has the world, in all its history, seen such a time where national borders have remained this stagnant, for this long... war is always coming, same as in war time, peace is always coming... well, with the state of military tech in this day and age, we wonder who will be around to see it, and the nuclear stalemate also stands as a pseudo protection of us all... if it's not China, another country, or alliance of countries will rise, and their existence alone, will create imbalance...

Taiwan has leveraged unfair policies, including low-cost labor, land subsidies, tax incentives, low electricity and water prices, and a favorable interest rate environment. Additionally, it has benefited from institutional advantages such as low-cost universal education. Seizing the opportunity presented by the semiconductor industry's shift after the US-Japan semiconductor war in the 1980s, Taiwan has vigorously developed the semiconductor manufacturing and chip design industries. Currently, due to the advantages of unfair policies, many semiconductor companies in Taiwan have grown to the extent that they can compete with leading US companies. For example, MediaTek surpassed Qualcomm to become the world's top mobile chip processor company. This success is not solely attributed to MediaTek's capabilities but stems from the unfair competitive advantage.
Given this situation, the United States cannot tolerate the continuation of such circumstances. It is time to counteract and dismantle Taiwan's semiconductor industry, including companies like TSMC and MediaTek.

Try to dismantle, USA economics will be dismantled when all Taiwanese and Chinese scientists leave usa.
And US companies will be prohibited in China. Let's see what happens for long term perspective. The power of Taiwan and China is not their economy, but their human talents. Usa can not win, you can only import talents, but not creating your own.

I disagree with his assessment that just because in history China and India were the largest economies then that they will also as if given will be the largest economies again. Everything changes as time passes nothing is constant. Whether China will have the largest economy depends on its people it doesn’t depend on history.

US is the number one super power military wise and economically. China's GDP per capita is only 1/4 of the US at best. US military has the most advance technology. They are well trained and have experience in many wars. US has many military bases around the world and China is surrounded by them. Furthermore, US has many European allies who will align with them to fight a war with China. History shows Washington had suppressed UK and Japan before in order to be number one. US has so much ego with this superpower status naturally it will not let China to take its place.

It is not a competition Chinas economy consists of western mainly American multi national corporations without them China would be a third world economy
The USA is currently spending two trillion $ in reshoring many of these companies and the result will be the blowing up of the foundation of Chinas economy china does not want to invest in technologies like the west did in order to become what the west is now but took centuries
in the contrary china pushes to be a superpower in just a few decades by
-forces intellectual property transfer from foreign companies and then copies them since they are unable to invent anything and what they produce is of shoddy quality: all gadgets made in china do not last and need to be replaced after a few uses
    -debt traps entire nations
    -forces organ transplants
-oppresses its own nice productive citizen
We the western world need to reverse and accelerate the outsourcing of our economy to china and companies which refuse need to be boycotted
-imagine shipping resources to china and than shipping back manufactured goods it is an environmental crime
globalization only serves the shareholders and not the consumers since replacing the shoddy products once or twice.... is much more costly
