I'm a philosophy and linguistics student, and a big fan of Noam Chomsky. This whole series has been one of the best reconstructions and investigations of Chomsky's thought I have come across. Thanks for your work. Have you got more segments planned?
Thank you for your kind words! Appreciate it a lot :) Yes, next week I will interview James McGilvray. Also, in mid-August I will interview Noam Chomsky himself for the podcast! If you have any speaker suggestions - feel free to let me know.
@@Daretoknow2020 It seems you have the cream of the crop when it comes to Chomsky scholarship already. Paul Peitroski has excellent work on semantic internalism. John Cottingham, I believe, has done some work on Chomsky's relation to the rationalist tradition as a whole. I'm really looking forward to future videos, whatever the topic!
@Chaim Mendel Definitely! Thanks for the suggestion - will do it soon. I uploaded a bunch of the episodes on Itunes/Spotify today. Will try to upload everything else in the coming days :) See links below. @@Daretoknow2020 I second Charles Yang, but I would like to add Prof. Charles Reiss to this list. His contribution towards a cognitivist understanding of Phonology, and how grammar links to speech and phonetics has been invaluable.
