I hate that some of these things got spoiled for you guys. The impulse for people to answer questions on videos when they’re 99% rhetorical questions, is strong! I’ve read the books and look forward to see how things get adapted to the screen, BUT PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS STOP SPOILING WHAT WILL BE EXPLAINED/ REVEALED LATER ON THE SHOW! There are plenty of channels for book readers to discuss and share our thoughts that are spoilers.
@@marcwa74 yes and not only that but, as on Game Of Thrones, sometimes the show writers greatly embellish a plot line. I hate spoilers, but assume most people don’t even realize they are spoiling things.
As a language instructor I found the scene of the green's high council meeting fascinating. The subtle dynamic of Aemon speaking high Valyrian fluently whereas his older bro. King Aemon spoke broken high Valyrian. To me, it demonstrates again knowledge is power, here with language fluency. Unusual thing to comment on perhaps but I found that language dynamic fascinating.
Admittedly I bawled throughout all the dragon fighting, all of it because as glorious as it was to watch it just made me so sad. I really hate fighting and war.
That last look Meleys gives Auntie Rhae Rhae like,"It was an honor flying with you" just hits me in the feels.😢
i think Rheanys strapped herself in because Meleys is her baby and she was gonna die with her baby
That look back was one of the saddest moments in all of the GOT universe for me. I crumbled Sunday night watching it. Meleys wanted to find comfort in his last breaths as did my girl Rhaenys. They had a beautiful bond

i was really impressed with the killer special effects of the dragon fight. Ryan Condal said the fight scene was going to be outasight!

Even if she managed to get off the dragon, she would have died, a 100ft is enough to kill you into water, it becomes the same as hitting concrete, and she fell from about 3000ft, (im also a skydiver) 😊
She purposely strapped herself onto Meleys cause if Meleys was going down she was too ❤
@dougmoodie8713 (Shamonda) I believe the camera shot of her strapping herself in, was an indication that she wanted to die in this fight. And from the angle of her leaning on her dragon gave me the chills of this being her last "ride." I loved her death, just didn't want to see it so soon.

Even though I was part of the battle, filming for weeks, I never knew what would happen as I never read the books

Rhaenys and Meleys were warriors and they died an honorable death. You can't ask for much more in this universe. I cried when they died. RIP to the red queen and the queen who should have been.
I believe reinese new she was gonna die she wanted to injure vagar enough to at least put him down for a minute and amond I believe was trying to kill the king so he can step in
That was the plan, dragon riders have that "feeling" and she knew it would be her last ride with her girl!

Team Black made a critical error. By sending Daemond away. He is the experienced one in battle as is his dragon. They also should have never faced Vaeghar 1V1z I would have continued to try and kill Aemond perhaps at the whore house. Surely the white worm has contacts there.
@lasportslive6813 (Shamonda) Now, I could be wrong, but did they send him away, or was going away his choice? I forget, but it seems like he would've left to do his own thing anyway. The White Worm is becoming more resourceful than we ever thought she would be for Team Black. Team Black wasn't formed under Daemond's orders- it was as respect for the rightful Queen, so we can't wait to see this all unfold.

The concoction that Alys gave Daemon was Weirwood sap, it's what Bran consumes to enhance his Greenseer powers. He drank it because he had just seen her eat some and then add hot water to it.
In the books, it is said that she appears younger than she really is, but according to the showrunner, Ryan Condel, she is 400 years old.

So happy to finally see the battle on screen, weeks of hard work, long days, set ups and resets. You never know at the time how it will all come together until you see it in the final edit, and im so happy and proud to be a small part of it 😊
P.S if it looks familiar, it’s filmed in the same location that the opening battle in Gladiator was filmed, we even advance out of the same woods the the barbarians come out of 😊

This episode was awesome but also sad 😢, R.I.P. to Rheanys and Meleys, I hope Sunfyre will ne ok bcuz he didn’t asked for any of this mess that Aegon got him into, pluck Aegon I hope he’s 💀 or if not 💀 at least badly hurt with his dumb ass. Every time I see the look between Rheanys and Meleys my heart breaks bcuz they both knew this was it, they was going out fighting and the look at the end tearjerker, I don’t hate or blame Vhagar she’s just going by Aemond’s emotions so I blame him 100%. I hope he dies a horrible death also.
That Dragon battle was Crazy!! Rolling, Biting, swooping, Vhagar snatching up other dragons mid-air... Fire everywhere!! o.o wow...
@cynthiagutierrez779 (Shamonda) The best part of this whole show was the dragons fighting- this is what we came to see. The fact that Rhaenys says "ATTACK" instead of "DRACARYS" is 🔥. No pun intended, but the dragon scratching bellies is a new thing and I'm here for it all.

That part! Now, it's on to see when it will be revealed that the son is still alive. We cannot wait.
To be fair the witch Alys said that Daemon would die at Harrenhall but she never said when tho. So that doesn't mean Daemon won't be leaving that place.
I felt so bad for the dragons, Rhaenys and even Aegon. Aegon was driven by Allicent to prove himself after he actually asked her for advice. She's such an awful mother she made Aegon King without ever guiding him and raising him to be a good king, instead she just expected him to be a puppet king while the greens rule, Aegon never even wanted the crown. Such a shame he was raised by the greens.
Otto and Allicents were complete fools thinking the could crown Aegon then control him completely.
@shannyd1 (Shamonda) Yeah, that was clear that she didn't say "when." We just need him to get out of there so his mind will be clear to make right decisions going forward. Because right now he's giving crazy vibes.
Vhagar reminds me of gamers who spawn snipe. You know,the kind of player who sits and waits and then you pop up/respawn and pop pop snap, your gone....that's Vhagar to me. Experienced but doesn't have the energy for all that!

Aemon is, unfortunately, smarter than Rhaenyra. I still don’t understand why she sent Luc to Storm’s End without considering that the greens might be there. And in this episode, she has once again failed to think there might be a dragon waiting for her side’s dragon.

What exactly do we think will be accomplished by Rheanyra revealing what "my daddy had said"? She will get the same response Allicent got when she said Viserys changed his mind and chose Aegon. They don't want a woman for their leader. She exhibits all the reasons they don't. She seems uncomfortable in this position. She's always absent. She and her King Consort are at odds. She has offered no solutions. Who is her hand anyway? She is telling her son that Viserys said she alone must unite the Seven Kingdoms. What has she been doing all these years to accomplish that? Viserys had no idea how the prophecy will play out. She couldn't even finish that story before Daemon started buggin'.
@kittykaty7652 (Shamonda) I don't anything will come about from her telling the story. But it is a tradition for the story to be told. She was probably shocked that no one knew of the story except for her. The history as we know it- Aegon's name is repeated throughout generations, we'll have to see what happens. @@monlovchel the time jump between the wedding and episode 6 was 10 years. Jace was 10 at the time and the wedding was only a week after her and Cole hooked up…. He is a Cole or a sand technically…. She hooked up with Harwin after the wedding, making the first child a cover up and the second one his… which is why she didn’t answer them at the funeral about being a bastard.

@@marriedtofilm he didn’t have a temper… at the wedding his father gave him an order to save the princess and he was already known as harwin breakbones because he was strong not because of his temper… in the courtyard criston provoked him into the fight by picking on the kids because he didn’t want to train them and harwin thought it was unfair. If criston hadn’t accused him of being their father he probably would not have reacted that way, because he was defending rhaenyras honor he over reacted. To flat out say it’s not Cristons kid is your opinion cool but my theory is not wrong Jace is more like criston than Harwin and the timelines fit.
