If the next over would have been continued by Umar Akmal, then the match's result could have been different because after Gul took the charge of the next over, he missed 5 balls with his own wicket as well, which increased deadly pressure on Pakistan and that led Umar Akmal to hit the very first ball in the air that costed him his wicket as there was no other option left as well except hitting the ball as hard as possible.

I want Indian team to match the intensity that the Australian team from 2000-2012 had. We know that Virat is the only man to do it( the intensity game) but we don't back him enough. That man is a playing legend just like Sachin was but more intense.... He gets too less credit than he deserves .
