i haven't seen the show yet, but i love how grounded it feels. scuffed up ellie in her sleeping bag, the sound of the birds and the coffee, the slow shots with such real dialogue in between.
So many things make this wholesome. The way she wiggles over to the pot, his mock offense over her not liking coffee, his huge obnoxious slurp 😂 he probably hasn't had the opportunity to act like a big kid since Sarah died. The way a dad would.
