We paid around $400 for a Vitamix. Along came a class action lawsuit due to the blade leaving traces. Vitamix was ordered to replace the blades but never did. When I reached out to their customer service they said that ordeal was over. Really? Over for whom? Where is our replacement blade? They avoided responsibility by saying a third party was "supposed to" contact us. If one of your customers is out at risk due to your faulty product you are responsible.
Please upgrade the Vitamix Blender cup. It's a hassle to use. There are no measurements on the cup and the rubber red seal slips and and if you have one of the Vitamix with self detect A3500 (which I have) with the sensoe as soon as the bottle moves it turns off.

Hi, I’ve been eating up your website shopping for a blender for my mom, she disliked her last blender not crushing chile seeds. I’ve honed in on Vitamix as the best blender around, I’m just having trouble deciding between the Propel and Legacy. Any tips would be greatly welcome!!

Money ($1,500 NZD) wasted as far as i'm concerned! I bought the A3500i (a fancy blender) but it stopped working about 4 years old. I wanted to know who in NZ to send my machine to be fixed as it was still under warranty..well what a mission! The paperwork from Vitamix was horrendous, they wanted to know what foods I was using, how long, what it sounded like when switched on etc etc., could I send them a video when it was running NO because I don't know how to do that! & I didn't have time or food to waste mucking around with it anymore, I had already done that myself and the thing didn't go! Finally it ran out of its 5yr warranty & its sitting in the shed..I went back to using my small Nutribullet which does it all anyway, albeit smaller amounts.
My A3500 bounces/moves on the counter when I'm blending, which seem odd. I plan on reaching out to customer service with a video demonstrating this, but wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
Hi there! On occasion during blending, especially with thicker mixtures like hummus, frozen desserts and nut butters, you may experience some excess movement/vibration from the motor base on your countertop. When this happens, the best thing to do is to first make sure you have your blender on the highest speed setting featured on that unit. Next, place your hand firmly on the lid of your container to steady it while you use your tamper to work the ingredients through the blades. This will help to create an easier flow of the ingredients in the container, which will also help to lessen the vibration. Please keep in mind that certain ingredients and recipes are thick or denser in nature, and some movement while blending is normal. Want a tall 5200, 64 oz container with a clear top that is can be used with the Ascent blenders.
