    This is a great sermon. It further shows us how unfathomably strong Jesus Christ is. The pain he suffered for us can not be comprehended. Humble yourself in front of the Lord God almighty for the price paid for your sins is unparalleled in the universe. Jesus Christ is our Saviour. Praise and all glory to the Lord.

    As I understand it, Jesus died on the cross for our reconciliation to God and He resurrected for our salvation. In the book of Acts, the Apostles spent most of their time getting people to believe that the Lord resurrected, not that He died for them.
    Romans 5:10
    For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Good preaching - be blessed!

      It is also called paradise
      Luke 23:43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
      So you dont believe in Abraham's bosom when it is clearly talked about i scriptures?
      Luke 16:19-31 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
      20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
      21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
      22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
      23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
      24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
      25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
      26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
      27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
      28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
      29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
      30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
      31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

    I'll tell you what the issue is, our generation has seen the passion of the christ and it desensitized us.. So we think the crucifixion wasn't that bad.. especially compared to burning in hell.. not me.. I'll put my faith on the work he finished on the cross..

  • @prichemac49

    I teach that Jesus went to hell because that's the Bible said. It's crystal clear.Acts 2: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
    the pastor of that church said to me "don't preach that"
    I am confused if he actually believes the Bible.
    And I am thankful for that because I don't need to go to that horrible place.
    That's why I truly love that verse.

    Whether Jesus went to hell or not is not the main issue.. the main issue is when you guys say "Jesus had to suffer in hell to pay for the second death".. That's heresy. There was power in the blood, the preaching of the cross is the way of salvation.. His physical death paid the full payment.. The bottom line is, Hell is obviously worse to suffer.. so your taking away from the physical suffering.. so which are you trusting? You literally said at the 8:35 mark that Jesus physical death was not him dying for us or tasting death for every man.. he took on flesh so he could die. How could you say his physical death was not enough..

    • @GiveMeLibertyBaptist
      @GiveMeLibertyBaptist  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are denying that Jesus was actually dead with what you are saying. No one is taking away from the cross when they teach that Jesus was dead for 3 days. Don't take away from the cross, but don't take away from the death either.

    I will admit that out of all of the NIFB preachers I have the most respect for you because your spirit has a different demeanor than the rest. However dispensations are Biblical and thank the Lord he opened my eyes to this important truth. You will never be able to properly understand the Bible until you realize there are dispensations and you must properly divide them. 1 Samuel 28:8-15 is absolute proof that OT Saints were underground in the OT. These scriptures state five times that Samuel "cometh up" out of the earth. The only exceptions are people like Enoch and Elijah who never died. OT Saints only had their sins covered, when Jesus died and rose again they were paid for. Please visit my channel because I have detailed videos proving this.

      No offense but out of all the people who hate the New IFB you seem to be the most likely one to be taking prescription drugs next to Macgregor. Dispensationalism is still wrong.

  • @Vinni316
    @Vinni316 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I noticed you added a word to acts 2: 24 saying Jesus was loosed (from) the pains of death. I believe Jesus went to hell and was in paradise both at the same time. Remember he is God the Son. So being equal to God the Father, he is present everywhere at all times. The Son of God was in the fire with the 3 Hebrew children, and loosed the pains of their death, because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. They didn’t smell of smoke, and not a hair of their head was singed.

      Jed Thomas it's basically a secular college. There isn't anything Christian about it. If you are going for a secular degree it might be fine and if you live by them it might be ok to go there. Just don't go there because they call themselves Christian or for ministry training.

  • @recon0911
    @recon0911 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I hope you come around on this.. we are not saying he didnt go to hell.. we are saying his blood made the full atonement.. he was dead when he gave up the ghost. Whatever his ghost did during the 3 days is not 100% clear. But it is clear the blood brought remission of sins.. I believe the work was finished on the cross and hell had no power over him. He was separated from the Father for the first time in all eternity, that would be the pains of death I think. Stop saying he had to pay for our sins by burning in hell. It's wrong. Stop saying he had to die the 2nd death in order to truly die.. it's wrong. In all sincerity if you dont harden your neck, and repent of that heresy, you will absolutely have a renewed appreciation for the cross and shed blood rather than the burnt offering.this do in remembrance of me, (the bread and body broken, the drink and blood shed). Hence why Anderson's croud does not treat the Lords Supper right but rather use it to find the Judas. He doesn't reverence the body and blood but rather the burnt offering. The second death is eternal. If Jesus died the 2nd death please explain how he rose from the dead and died the 2nd death. The 2nd death is eternal. If you dint suffer for eternity then you haven't died the 2nd death.. I think it's more right to be in the side that says the death of Christ was different because it was God dying it was Gods blood.
