Whilst Barry was speaking, the Lord Jesus made His word known to me and I was made alive in my spirit to receive what I have asked for - and I have received. Am now being thankful for my healing as the life of the Son of God is being revealed in me for all to see and give glory to God. Am also grateful for Barry's obedience as a witness of the Lord's resurrection and for sharing his testimony of what the Lord has done.

I struggle with unbelief. I pray and get into the Word daily. I learn. I’m always looking for Him and hear His voice but I’m finding it hard to wait as I struggle physically. How do I strengthen my faith while I wait? I hope someone can minister to me as I know the Lord is pleased when we have faith in Him.

I have experienced so many people simply quoting these Bible verses, but when I couldn't see any positive results, year after year, I have been discouraged as well. I have learned that I must go to God and ask Him what is hindering my healing or other victory I need. God will answer, but if I didn't spend quality time with God, I wasn't able to hear His answer. If I'm too busy to sit with God, deeply study His Word, I more than likely won't be able to receive my answer. Plus if I failed to forgive someone, that is another hindrance. Ask Him, patiently listen and willingly obey Him. You will receive all you need and want from God!

Can be done, Hallelujah! I was healed from intrusive thoughts (and a whole lot more) over the course of two weeks while speaking the Gospel of John out loud for a recording. I wasn't even doing it expecting to be healed, but focusing 100% on the Word of God and praying in the Spirit (didn't know I was doing that, either but in hindsight that's just what I was doing) changed me in a way that everyone around me saw it, too. Stay in faith, it will manifest. Meanwhile, praise and thanksgiving are the most effective antidote to intrusive thoughts. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a SOUND MIND." (2nd Timothy 1:7).

Pray for me...I've been diagnosed with colon cancer that's trying to spread. I stand on God's Word that by His stripes I was healed, in Jesus name Amen !!!

I have friends in my church who insist that "Sometimes God just says no." I believe that all of His promises are yes and amen. I love those people, but I can't convince them. So I just don't ask them to pray for me.
Ive noticed this too, particularly about healing. But that is because the 'By His stripes you are healed' being past tense, conflicts with their understanding of how to receive healing from a Jesus that is no longer walking in the flesh but with us in the spirit (after we are born again). Thus they are looking to the carnal mind to receive something spiritual, when instead they need to be looking to the spiritual mind to pull out the healing into the natural.

I had a Heart Operation. In the Operation I had a Schlaganfall, don’t know the english Word. My arm is paralized and we are praying for healing.

Just keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. All blessings and promises are in Him. Just make sure in your seeking you are seeking by the means of grace that God has provided through the shed blood of His Son.

Sometimes a person may prefer to go home than fight to stay here. Listening to people who have died and returned you conclude that, at least sometimes, God gives the person a choice to stay or return to their body.

Thank you Barry this word helped me so much! I know I am healed but my recovery has been a process because I had been sick for a long time. So many teach us that everything is supposed to be a miracle or it didn't work. I had become confused and discouraged but now know that I'm on track. It has also freed me to know I can use wisdom to help my body recover by giving it the right foods and the sleep I need to get strong again. Before this tormented me because I thought I was being double minded and I would force my body to do things it wasn't ready for. What a blessing this word has been!!!

When we pray to someone it is impossible for us to let that person know about the healing that is provided. Because prayer won't work if we don't believe. The key is faith. Jesus told the women,"daughter your faith had make you whole"

20:42 using "please" during prayer has become habit to me because I like being polite regardless of who I'm addressing, but it also feels like a way to acknowledge Him as an equal, rather than demanding blessings to occur. Then again, if I'm in selfless faith and my desires align with His, using such power is no longer demanding

Hello, Kathleen. We're sorry to hear what you've been experiencing. When believing for healing, we want to encourage you that there is no striving in the love of God. His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matt. 11:28-30).
Any thought, mindset, or perspective that tells us it is hard to receive from God, hard to know Him and hear Him, or hard to be healed is not from God. Receiving healing is not a sum of good works, confessed sins, and quoted scriptures. Receiving healing flows from our relationship with the Father. It flows from a confidence in His love and a revelation of His truth.

I am thankful to come across the teachings of charis, because I have been not seeing the truth that I see in the word inside of the churches I've attending, but it is not manifesting in the flesh for me. I have been craving and desiring to see healing and greater works for years. I have been healed of many soul hurts like severe depression, self hatred, unforgiveness but I want to see healings in bodies. I am nearsighted and both of my girls are. One of my children has a cataract in his eye that doctors want to operate on, and I don't want his eye cut into. Another child of mine has hemiplegia and cannot use his left arm/hand and limited control of left leg. My pentecostal granmother-in-law has been stuck in a chair for 17 years, her son, my father-in-law has been in a chair for ten years. I see sickness all around and I want to help so bad. I just recently went two weeks without my glasses with full assurance I am already healed but I put them back on because I couldn't see and I need to see to do my duties as a wife and mother. I am frustrated beyond measure.
So this for me means; praying should follow believing, my prayer should be birthed of faith (believing)
It is not need that should birth my prayer but my believing
Amen, in EVERYTHING by the prayer of THANKSGIVING, coupled with Supplication, l’m allowing my Prayers of THANKSGIVING, be made KNOWN unto my ABBA FATHER GOD. This is so good. And so needed when it comes to understanding how healing comes & when. If you're walking by sight or feelings only it may never come. Especially when you're believing for something unusual or hard in the natural to receive like new teeth, which I've put my faith in GOD's word & promises on. But as Brother Hagin used to say, if you're willing to wait for forever, forever won't be to long...
I now do what Pastor Wommack said. I rebuked the disease in my body in the name of Jesus accepting my healing that our loving Jesus swapped his righteousness for on the cross and I receive my healing. I also work at renewing my mind with the Word and I now think differently. Thank you Jesus for Pastors Wommack and Bennett.

Have faith prayers not fatalistic prayers!!
Tongues don’t just come out of you. Holy Spirit doesn’t possess. The moment you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Jesus as Lord, you are saved and receive the Holy Spirit gift --you open your mouth, you pronounce the words in you tongues. That you pray in the spirit it’s your business but what you pray is the spirit’s business. Manifestation is up to us because believing denotes action. It’s a verb!

Please take a look at the book 'Your Only Problem Is How To Receive Your Healing by Walt Straughan.' We need to understand what happened when we were born again and acknowledge it. I don't see anyone doing this.
