I have a duplicator I3. But the weird thing is that both the x and the y had this fault at the same time - after something went wrong trying to initialize a print from my PC and crashed the entire software. And then my X and Y homing stopped working. Don't know what that's about!
@@shorty4901 yes, and it's working. I have Ender V3 and the switch is on toolhead PCB which I replaced for a spare one and yet I still have a problem with homing the head. It just bumps to the left and makes awful noise.
@@shorty4901 ok, strange to check Z axis when I have problem with X but I'll check em today.. Basically my printer did reset and I can't get past first calibration. I saw a video where it checks Y so it can level itself then just heat the nozzle etc. My printer head just went to the left and makes sounds. I checked everything - every single cable, touch sensor, changed PCB and ribbon cable. Also, changed the hot end and reflash the firmware. Only what is left to check/change is the motherboard. I get the 2022 and abnormal nozzle error.
I know I plugged this connector in, but when I checked, it had popped out! Thank you for the video!
Glad I could help
Omg thank you! I hadn’t seen that smaller port! Bless you
For me, I plugged the E & X in the wrong slot! Switched them, worked!!
Thanks for the vid! i had my switch too tight and the metal sensor was stuck pressed down.
Glad it helped.
Great video man!
Glad you liked it!

Can you use the old firmware and get back to how it was?.
Thank you so if the switch is open it tells the board to stop homing so its a constant circuit until pressed
yes

wow, unlucky. check all the switches.
just want to know where the wire are connected to (on the sensorboard)
they should be labelled x,y z etc
i have issue with all my axis going opposite direction somehow and making noises 😢 any tips on this ?
maybe they plugged in wrong sockets on motherboard?.
Ender 3 S1 My AutoHome comes to the middle and measures, but the one after it finishes without measuring any of the edges. Does anyone know why?
faulty switches?
Everything works but my X-axis. It just makes a noise and moves the belt a tad. Any tips?
have you checked the x axis microswitch?.

@@skate4life977 check the leads under the bottom plate, make sure they are in the right places.

This is exactly what is happening with my new Ender 3

It was perfect. Turned out to be a lose connection. Fixed and all is well. On 4th print already. Thanks!
