The way he took care of his brother; like a father; is a credit to his character and his entire family. When asked Nate if he faced bullying, beat up and picked on as a kid he just gave the most genuine smile " No, I had a big brother". That's love.
But you know that Nick was bullied hard, he did it have a dad that was there for him or a big brother. Touching because we all know Nick was protecting Nate from the Real world which Nick was battling
@@jaythewineoisseur346 true, but to be fair the true victim is the kid who thought picking on nick diaz would end well for him. probably not the person you want to piss off.
Dam when nate said those words it made me feel some type of way. I'm a big brother myself and I never knew how much my little brother looks up to me. Definitely gonna continue to grow as a man and keep getting better.
It’s also sad cuz who knows if Robbie is good. These guys get paid dogshit money and Robbie was making a teachers salary to put on one of the best performances ever against rory but it took a big piece from him
Because the Diaz and Lawler are made of the same cloth. Robbie came in the UFC at 18 and hes still fighting. Probably because thats what he do. So they probably understand each other on an other level.
And when he asked that you can hear nick say no I’m not. Damn it’s so messed up how the ufc and Dana took advantage of these guys and never even paid them a legitimate amount. Nick was a more real Conor mcgregor way before Conor was around. They didn’t want someone from the hood to be the face of the ufc and Nick was just to real. They kept him down and ruined his prime because of thc. When the man he fought was on steroids and got not even a year
The way the UFC turned their back on these brothers really got to me. Both phenomenal fighters, tough lives, being put through hell just to do what they love.
Learning more about both of the Diaz’s childhood and life makes Nate’s win in Conor v Nate 1 so much more satisfying! So much respect for the Diaz brothers.
@@jasonv6319 I can see why you think that but really conor and mates stories are not that different. Stockton is hard place to grow up but the same for conor in Crumlin Dublin its known as one of the worst parts of Ireland. He was relentlessly buried growing up its why he got into fighting. I don't see Connor as the bully he just decided he would be the hammer and not the nail its the same as nate.
@@LewReviews I'm from tallaght Dublin, this part of the city is fucking rough, in my old neighborhood just last week a youngfella stabbed and killed his two sisters and brother who were kids. My ma now lives in another spot around the corner where a man a few months ago was shot 3 times while walking with his 4 month old son in a pram. I've seen some bad things and had some bad things done to me and my friends. Its inevitable that some nasty shit happens to you or someone close at some point I think. I say all that just to emphasize that Connor really had come from a fucking hard place, I actually train in the old gym by coincidence, I can only imagine back in the day, the desperation of wanting it and being one of the very few Irish people trying against all odds to get into the UFC and have an impact, almost nobody here would have been in his corner to support his dreams it wouldn't have even been on anybody's radar as a possibility, most would probably just laugh at him. Watching his rise trough the UFC was insane and I got on fairly early and it was a part of the reason I decided a few years ago to start training that instead of other sports. I love the Diaz brothers too and I can imagine the suffering they went through in Stockton must have been fucking treacherous. I hate this "Diaz brothers are stupid bleeders" or "mctapper is a bitch" shit. All 3 of them are animals who climbed to the top and ended up pitted against one another. Even if you dont like a fighter you should have respect for all people who will get in a cage against another human to try and break eachother apart. Im sick of the casual fan bullshit where the pre fight press conference is where they decide if they like someone or not, thats all a show.
There is so much behind Nick. It's like he has a sense of responsibility that he can't let go, and he feels that so many things are his fault. It's tough to be that person.
I feel with Nick. That sense of duty and responsibility he has for Nate is truly one of a kind especially when they’re in this line of work. Their mindset are complete polar opposite when it comes to fighting in the UFC & its so interesting that Nick still treats Nate like he’s still 12 years old in Highschool protecting him from all the bullies.
Not the UFC Dana White not respecting them, be clear. Cause‘ he thinks money. Look how he treated DJ and now DJ and One will kick his…Life is sweet man!
brett: “why are you here this week?” nick: “it’s just what i do.” brett: “so why are you still doing it?” nate: “it’s what i do.” that hit hard. forever love the diaz brothers. ❤️
Absolutely.... As they both became more famous or known.. no one from here or anyone who understands streets, working Class,, ever said anything negative about them.... We completely understand, when you say F U, you mean it... You have to... Or get eaten up by the streets... Gen X from Orange County California 🇺🇸.. We had to fight for it.. I'm mixed race, Cholo types, Jocks, Everyone..
Man the part where Robbie asked if he was doing good got me. They go to war with each other, and without hesitation goes into friend mode after he knows something’s not right. Respect.
That's the part that hit me hard. He looked out of it. Physically and mentally. He's so damn tough and the fact he didn't wanna get up said it all, he's tired. He's fought all his life. Man I love the Diaz brother that part made me really sad :( hope Nick is doing well.
@@that1kidjr He's tired and done with it sure... But he doesn't give up; he takes it like a man and gets what he needs to do done. Hard man, bro. Hard man with a gentle soul.
Damn this deserves to be on ESPN. People that were too young to remember them or missed out need to see this. Even people that do remember them, great job!
The Diaz Brothers are 100% certified LEGENDS in the fight game!!! and they might not even be done yet, they’ve potentially still got more to add to their legacy…. In my opinion they’ve had just as much of an impact on the story of the UFC and MMA in general as absolutely anyone else has….
Diaz brother's conduct themselves as a response to the way the rest of the world has treated them. The fact that they built the legacy they have is a testament to how much heart is in both.
I have watched this documentary so many times, but one thing that stood out to me was the brotherhood that Nick and Nate have for each other, the unconditional love that no other brothers at their young age had. They aren't just two brothers at odd with each other, they are like father and son. Nick helped guide his little brother through the troubled life of Stockton, while Nate become their financial support for his brother while he is in his probation. Their love and care for one another is thicker than blood; through their own anxiety, struggle and frustration, they became something special together. They became icons, legends and most importantly, a family at the end of the day. Through good times and bad times, I wished nothing but good luck to the Diaz brothers. I'll be waiting to the day they inducted to the Hall of Fame. God bless their heart and soul!
This was a very emotional film. I understand Nick more now and sympathize with him. The Diaz brothers are legends. I hope they find peace and wealth and more success. It ain't over yet. 209.
Me too brother I was never a big Diaz brother's fan until I started to understand the torment and success at the same time. NICK is a great person and the UFC made him out to be a bully and a bad guy I love this sport with everything inside me but I'm starting to hate the company if that makes sense and I'm a proud man but this made me cry like a new born baby but DAMM am I glad I watched it because it was beautifully made
"In order to love fighting, I have to hate it. There is no love in this without hate and if you ain't there till you hate it then goodluck loving this shit" - Nick Diaz. That is not a fighter, that is a fucking philosopher. So happy that he is now teaching kids and doing something that probably makes him happy. I hope Nick is doing good
Man this was an emotional roller coaster. I knew Diaz brothers had it hard, but this was an entire different story. I appreciate your efforts, man. This was so great.
“It’s what I do.” That quote right there perfectly encapsulates the Diaz Brothers. Why do they never pull out of fights? Why do they fight the hardest opponents possible? Why do they have an unstoppable will? It’s just, what they do.
The Diaz brother's were and are still truly special. It's a shame how they gave nick a 5yr suspension ova weed, and making him miss his prime years of fighting. Much respect to the Diaz brother's..
Shows Dana’s power over the Nevada athletic commission and the UFC money submission of any sense of fairness towards their employees. Diaz bros. Winners, Dana to be remembered as the loser in every story. He sold his soul for the money🎉
@@TS-1267you’re missing the point…Nick refused to play the “bad guy” role that the UFC marketed him as and publicly talked $hit about Dana which hurt ticket sales and ultimately lessened the marketability and overall value of the UFC toward corporate sponsorships, endorsement deals etc. potentially losing millions of dollars in Dana’s eyes. So Dana punished Nick for it…who do you think made sure Nick passed the drug tests on all his previous fights? Nick NEVER stopped smoking weed. Dana stopped bribing the officials because Nick wouldn’t “play the game” because it undermined his code of honor. We are talking about weed here…sure suspend him for a few fights to show you’re not fawking around but for FIVE YEARS??? That basically ENDED Nick’s career AND ensured that Nate - Nick’s brother - would remain under Dana’s control. That’s some evil Machiavellian $hit right there…
My favorite thing about Nate's last fight is that I haven't heard anybody hating on or disrespecting Tony, it's like both sides didn't want to see Tony take a loss, but also REALLY needed to see Nate end on a win. He couldn't have gone out in a better way. Much love for the Diaz brothers ❤️
This is sad almost brought tears to my eyes. Nick reminds me of my older brother who passed away. He kept me out of trouble and guided me with wisdom. Although his life was hard and more hectic he went out of his way to make sure I was always okay and that’s exactly what nick does. Nate Diaz’s goal is probably to make nick proud and I’m sure he has done that and more.
Man fuck. I feel u on that. The parts where he was worried about Nate hanging with the wrong crowd made me think of my own brother. Nicks heart was too big Fr Fr
As an older sibling i can tell you we don't want or need you to make us proud we just want you to be good in life as well as in your head & heart. Truly sorry you lost your main 1 my heart goes out to you, i, from 11yo, raised my baby sis (34 lol) & we're so close. I can't imagine losin her so soon, you're clearly a very strong person mentally as well emotionally cus you wouldn't be here otherwise so pls believe me when i say how very proud your brother is. Take care & i hope at the time of readin you're doin well.
This is the best definition of brotherly love and sticking with family that anyone could ever see. That's why I've been a fan of both of these guys since I first saw them.
I wish my brother cared even a little bit about me... My brother is the most self centered tool in the world. Now, I just don't give AF.. I'll be something without him.
I remember getting Nick's autograph on a blockbuster receipt in Lodi in the early 2000's. I've had many instances where I've been in the company of him and his brother Nate. I'm telling you, first hand, that the negative publicity is all a fucking sham. Those dudes are of the most respectful and respectable I've ever met. They are true martial artists. And they are the best fighters that have ever entered the octagon. I liked this video. Someone took the time to do the research to give these gentleman some of the respect they deserve. The respect they have earned. Love and Respect from the 209.
I couldn't agree with you more about Nate and Nick and the media's portrayals. I've met them over a dozen times running into them when I lived in Tracy/Modesto area. My favorite instance when I ran into Nate at BJ's in Stockton. My Aunt and I were there eating dinner right after a Stockton thunder game. I saw Nate with a bunch of people eating I waited for him to finish before I walked over and asked him if we could take a picture with him. He asked me where we were sitting I showed him he walked right over and sat down with us and took the picture and after that he spent about 10 minutes with us talking about random stuff but his engagement the whole time was so cool.
I have always, always loved them both... long before Nate/Conor 1. People used to talk so much sh!t and it used to drive me fkn nuts. I’m so glad they now get the love and respect they have always deserved
After watching this like 5 times, I just wanna take a minute to say thank you for making a quality documentary about 2 brothers that I’ve been watching fight for over half of my life. These two got me into running and swimming years ago, which in turn changed my whole life. I just want to say thank you for telling a story that needed to be told. I hope that somebody else in a dark place out there will come across these 2 in this well made video and be inspired as well. It’s a story that deserves telling and I’m glad you took the time.
seeing Nick be there and be so proud of his brother at 279 had me in my feelings..I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Diaz bros..I'm close to Stockton so I'll always support them..but their love for each other is really inspiring and special man.. Patrick always has me emotional with his videos
Fr? I'm close too. Before we moved to Fresno we used to live in Sacramento. I was born in San Diego like my brothers though. So even though we didn't live in Stockton it was always just a 1-3 hour drive away depending on where we lived. Plus, there is a fair amount of Hmong people in Stockton too I think so it's even cooler Nick and nate diaz are from Stockton! They are so cool
This documentary got me a lot more emotional than I thought. I grew up with self confidence issues and it was tough to deal with because I looked to my brother for someone to confide in, but my relationship with my brother was rough because he dealt with a lot of issues with getting bullied. We played a lot of sports but never fell in love with any of them until he found wrestling when he was in 7th grade and I was in 5th grade. The next year he got me to start doing it, I was overweight and my relationship with him was close to its worst, but that first year of wrestling taught me more than I could have ever expected. It wasn't until my first year of middle school when I started also playing pop warner that I lost my weight and I really started to get close with my brother. The way Nick dealt with bullying and wanted to protect his little brother from pain in life and how Nate worked towards, idolized, and wanted the best for his brother is how my brother and I relationship evolved through the extreme struggles we faced in family, life and competition. I also got two little brothers that taught me what it feels like to see someone you truly love learn the struggles of life, and it taught me how amazing it is to help them find what they love in life, and teach them how to face life healthily. The Diaz's brothers story is one that I view as one of the most tragic, misunderstood, and inspirational in the history of sports, and its not even finished. I related to their story more than anything I've ever known and I think everyone should understand and learn from their outlook on life because they are some of the most misunderstood and underappreciated people in sports. This was incredibly difficult to write as I was writing through tears, but this is the first time I've ever felt the need to express myself like this in a comment for anything ever. I also wanted to ad just how much wrestling and combat sports saved me. I had so many personal issues, and I still do, but now I know who I am, I know who the person I want to be is, I know the mentality I want to have towards life and the loved ones around me, and I have my brothers and my love for combat sports/martial arts that stemmed from wrestling to thank for that.
I’m glad you took the time to type that out and I hope it helped you and it helps others that can relate to your struggles. This video was much heavier than I expected and then I read you comment. Fucking onion ninjas trying their hardest to get in here.
That's awesome bro. I have a story just like yours only different. But share the same love for combat sports and the Diaz Brothers. It's great to see Nate shine. Him and Nick are both something special. For sure.
I feel you brother I've faced the same shit...I think that's why we live and die by their side...I cant imagine my life without them...the 209 mentality got me through some tough times. Diaz For Life.
My younger brother was killed in a motorcycle accident in January, my only sibling. This is by far my favourite of Pat's documentaries and I really resonated with the dynamic shown here even though we weren't really from a similar background as Nick and Nate. I love you Derk
Man it got me emotional. This is the best doc I've seen on Diaz brothers. Big props to you Patrick. Hope you keep making good videos like this. Somebody really needs to make a proper movie on Diaz brothers.
Willing to bet there will be a diaz bros movie someday but will prob be something our grandkids will enjoy and wonder what it was like to watch them fight
Watching nicks story and his impact to Nate makes me emotional man. I was nowhere near the big brother I should’ve been to my little brother when we was kids.
As that "little brother" who still isn't close to his big brother, I assure you man you've taught him far more than you or him ever realize. I'm only as mentally strong as I am because of my brothers influence. Just 2 "street kids" from Toledo ohio. We might fight each other (and have on 4 occasions) but bet nobody touches him without me n vice versa. You may feel you shoulda done more as a big brother, but I bet if you asked him he'd say you did just fine. Big brothers always get the praise, little brothers get the pure toughness. You helped create a warrior by being a warrior yourself. Us little brothers just watched n learned before we ran with the ball ourselves. Stay up.
Patrick, you affectively captured the pain and difficulties the Diaz brothers went through in this digestible and appealing documentary format--just excellent cinematography from start to finish. I want to emphasize, the utilization of the piano music playing in the background really does combine all of the elements into one cohesive structure that painted a simultaneously sad and beautiful story into one. 💯
15:25: the pain in Nick's voice and eyes was palpable when he was speaking about his brother. Then when Ariel was reading that statement to Nate, he seemed just as upset as his brother. That honestly hurts to watch. I wish my brother and I were anywhere near as close to each other as the Diaz brothers are. That's a next-level version of loyalty and love. If nothing else, they will always have each other, and that's a gift that many people could only dream of. Every time Nate Diaz is interviewed post fights, he always shouts out his brother and calls him the best fighter on earth.
I clocked that right away too. My brother and I's relationship went so south in the last few years to not exchanging a word for a few months already. As a big brother, it's beautiful to see their connection.
I really appreciate the way you made this documentary. Not a whole lot of you talking and your opinion, just a lot of videos of the brothers and letting them tell their story as it progressed through the years. Really well done!
Man. When Robbie asked "Are you good...in life. That's fucking different." I teared up. That's some heavy shit and I respect him so much for asking that question. Thank you for making this video; you've got my subscription.
I dunno if these guys are gangsters. They are family. They don't hurt ppl in the streets for clout or money. They learned a discipline and competed fearlessly and with no frills. Gangsters are cowardly scum that prey on the weak and use violence for the sole purpose of money and power. These boys are martial artists and defend right.
Holy cow this was amazing! When Nick said he doesn’t have any friends it hurt so bad..it took everything not to cry..but thank god for that ending and him teaching at his school and finally being happy!!!!

Came into MMA way too late to know this much about Nick, that shit is heart breaking. I never saw him fight (live) until the Lawler fight, but his interviews made me a fan basically immediately. Nate never really got me in that way, I always thought it was weird how everyone kept referring to him as 'the realest' when it seemed like he sorta tried too hard, but Nick resonated immediately. Now having heard both of their stories, I have immense respect and empathy for Nick. I have a lot more for Nate too, and a bit more understanding why he is the way he is. I really like Tony, I wish Nate did that to Chimaev as the biggest fuck you in history on his way out, but I'm glad they both got to fight a legend. This was one of the most emotional fkn documentaries that I have literally ever seen about 2 brothers. It's not the words, the punches or the wins that we remember. It's the gift of witnessing a man give his life, blood and soul for something and put it all on the line. The Diaz brothers will be cemented in combat sports history for eternity.
I couldn’t love these two men, more than I do! They are the epitome of this sport and the backbone of what it’s all about! All blessings to Nate and Nick!

This was really well made. Props to you for actually really doing research and taking a different approach than everyone normally does with the Diaz brothers.
There is more to the Diaz Brothers than people will ever give them credit for and its a shame that the UFC didnt make the most of having them on the roster
@@zboub7025 I think the Diaz brothers could be 10x bigger if talking in popularity terms had the UFC and the people who run it, ie Dana, Fertitas and whoever runs the show now after buying the UFC understood what they were truly like. I highly doubt that Dana is as close to the Diaz brothers as he is to McGregor or Rousey or his other show ponys. i think if youre an MMA fan, you will never miss a Diaz fight, sure, they dont cross over to the mainstream like McGregor who attracts absolute cunts but shit, being a down ass fighter and putting on great fights has to mean something right? Masterclass in production, man. That was great. I grew up in Stockton and came back for a convention when I was in college. Went to get some late night jack in the box and saw Nick Diaz walking around at 1am. Said wassup to him and he said wassup back. Always been a fan.
man stockton is still that small brother haha. always see nate out at finnegans on pacific across the bowling alley just drinking with the town, i drove past their academy my whole life not knowing that was theirs 😂😂
Nick got it much worse than Nate, but they both received unfair treatment and it's not hard to figure out why. The UFC was getting really fuckin popular for the first time and everyone wanted to keep that going. They didn't want to risk a couple of brothers from Stockton speaking the truth and pointing out things that were wrong etc. These two brothers have more integrity, guts, and passion than anyone else in the UFC. It was great to see Nate beat Tony recently, now I hope they can both just continue to be happy in life.
The UFC was getting popular and wanted Nick to the be the face of it. Nick was his worse enemy. If you font fall for the poor me story form Nick and look at everything you'll see this. Fighters today tell the truth about the UFC. Its never ending about Pay and contracts. Nate or Nick isn't saying anything new. Nick got a title shot against GSP after losing a fight. Nate got a title shot against Henderson got beaten. He then had a fight with RDA the winner of that match would have gotten a title shot. Nate missed weight badly. The Diaz brothers play the victim card and go against the UFC. A promotion that made them who they are. Nick once said that the UFC is the elite promotion. This was when he was a strike force champion. The Diaz brothers messed themselves up as there Ego got beyond them. Nick before he fought Robbie said he would beat Usman. When he lost to Robbie he said he would come back and fight Usman and win. Both brothers are delusional
@@orinorio1 I think you're going a bit far man. I'm not saying they're innocent or anything like that but they were screwed on several occasions in a couple different ways. If you don't see that then you're not looking at everything. Yes they made mistakes which caused some of the issues, but they were also taken advantage of with certain promotions of fights and weren't given certain opportunities that they probably deserved etc. So innocent, no. And I certainly don't think, "oh poor Diaz brothers." However they both got a raw deal at certain points
@@orinorio1 they play no victim card whatsoever they just tell it how it is. Of course they've had their shortcomings when they had a chance at gold but that doesn't make what they were saying about the UFC any less true. Dana trying to spin a false narrative for their actions when behind the scenes it's something completely different, they might not be very articulate with how they respond but they're definitely not dumb and can see right through the BS.
If the UFC did them so badly and unfairly then why did Nate just make it clear that he had no problem coming back? They just both wanted things they felt they earned but really hadnt. Nate saying “I’m helping all these guys get title shots and not getting anything”….well then he should’ve won. If you’re constantly fighting top contenders then you’re constantly getting an opportunity to BE a top contender and get a title fight, you just have to win. Nate didn’t. That’s on him. He made himself a stepping stone, the ufc didn’t do that.
Amazing Video, Nick is a legend of the game with such a heartbreaking story. Nate becoming a superstar and one of the highest paid guys in the ufc is the least the brothers deserved after everything.
I now have a new founded appreciation for the Diaz brothers. I've always loved them but this video really reminded me of all their struggles, the guilt and shit that Nick had to go through. Mannnn, I'm not an emotional person but this shit brings tears to my eyes.
They seriously need to make a film about the Diaz Brothers and follow Nick especially his story is just so heartbreaking and inspiring he is just a one in a life time talent and personality. His past was so bad but he chose to not go down that path and became a great fighter and one of the best brothers ever.
This is honestly your best work yet. I thought the Francis one was amazing but you truly captured their story and their heart. if you watch this and you aren’t moved, go watch tennis.

Robbie asking Nick if he is good… in life is the most beautiful thing. Still tears me up.
Facts that's why robbie is one of my fav fighters ever
Two brothers against the world. How can you not root for these guys
God bless you man im glad your at peace bro

That honestly hurts to watch. I wish my brother and I were anywhere near as close to each other as the Diaz brothers are. That's a next-level version of loyalty and love. If nothing else, they will always have each other, and that's a gift that many people could only dream of. Every time Nate Diaz is interviewed post fights, he always shouts out his brother and calls him the best fighter on earth.
I clocked that right away too. My brother and I's relationship went so south in the last few years to not exchanging a word for a few months already. As a big brother, it's beautiful to see their connection.

Yea I agree. It really was special.

Feel blessed to have lived to see the diaz era. Real gangsters never quit
They only identifies as gangsters for selling, both are great human beings besides being tough and talented martial artists
Lmao I see what you did there
Holy cow this was amazing! When Nick said he doesn’t have any friends it hurt so bad..it took everything not to cry..but thank god for that ending and him teaching at his school and finally being happy!!!!

Here is my short testimony
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Revelation 12:11
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony”
I was guided to church May 15th 2016, God led me there, and had it all planned. Two elders sat at the back, I was by the back door able to make my escape if necessary. Never knew God, never read the Bible, never heard the clear Gospel till this Sunday evening prayer night. I was lead to All Nations that morning by the Lord. He guided me at 27 years old to take a leap of faith and granted me the gift of saving faith that Sunday evening when I humbly prayed with 3 elders and whole-heartedly accepted Christ into my life. The flood came down as unexplainable as it can be, the precious blood of Christ cleansing me. Amazing the guilt, the shame, the regret the pain all washed away in His precious blood.
WORTHY IS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN; who wrote my name in the BOOK OF LIFE! Hallelujah
Wrote this poem in 10 minutes one night never read it until I woke up hours later in the morning!
Never has been changed or altered!
Blows my mind!
. .Bring my soul out of prison. .
Psalm 142:7
"Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me"
(Scripture that led me to put pen to paper that night at 2am)
“Bring my soul out of prison”
Examining life, from a better place at last
Looking into the mirror, mirror of the past
Choosing to submit, not knowing what was there
Did I know of a greater power? Did I even really care?
Running through my thoughts, searching but for what?
My soul imprisoned, will the doors all remain shut?
Plotting against me, the father of lies
Delighted in my sorrow, taking pleasure in my cries
Voices on the attack, keeping me in a hole
Heartache and agony inside, so I chose to numb my soul
Was blinded by darkness, was deceived; but how?
Was not capable to see then, what is so clear to see now
Was directed towards isolation, told I was all alone
Implying "you are your own master", "you can do it on your own"
Somewhere within, even certain it was a lie
Reaching down again, giving it another try
But my God is faithful, even when I am not
He was always there, me He never forgot
Walking through the darkness, a light starts to shine
With a voice calling out, son you are mine!
Softening a hardened heart, freeing an imprisoned soul
Erasing the shame the guilt, pulling me from the hole
By giving up control, proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior!
He took away those voices, negative thoughts and behavior
Bought by the blood of Christ, in full He paid my debt
Something to be grateful for, something to never forget
Lost and searching my whole life, not knowing what for
I now know Lord Jesus, He opens up the door
Through this door, lays a straight and narrow path
Salvation is mine! Trust in God; peace at last!
For He is "the way, the truth and the life"
In heaven with the Father, seated at the right
Wrapped in His robe of righteousness, embraced in perfect love
Unconditional love like this, truly comes from above
Out of prison came my soul, as miraculous as it can be
As His word states:
“And you shall know the truth,
And the truth shall make you free."

Hope Nick finds happiness, I pretty much felt shit the entire day after listening to this, guy seems like a one in a million good dude but life keeps shitting on him.

This was one of the most emotional fkn documentaries that I have literally ever seen about 2 brothers. @@zboub7025 I think the Diaz brothers could be 10x bigger if talking in popularity terms had the UFC and the people who run it, ie Dana, Fertitas and whoever runs the show now after buying the UFC understood what they were truly like. I highly doubt that Dana is as close to the Diaz brothers as he is to McGregor or Rousey or his other show ponys. i think if youre an MMA fan, you will never miss a Diaz fight, sure, they dont cross over to the mainstream like McGregor who attracts absolute cunts but shit, being a down ass fighter and putting on great fights has to mean something right? man stockton is still that small brother haha. always see nate out at finnegans on pacific across the bowling alley just drinking with the town, i drove past their academy my whole life not knowing that was theirs 😂😂
Thanks for the showing us one of the best brotherhoods out there patrick ❤
Nick got it much worse than Nate, but they both received unfair treatment and it's not hard to figure out why. The UFC was getting really fuckin popular for the first time and everyone wanted to keep that going. They didn't want to risk a couple of brothers from Stockton speaking the truth and pointing out things that were wrong etc. These two brothers have more integrity, guts, and passion than anyone else in the UFC. It was great to see Nate beat Tony recently, now I hope they can both just continue to be happy in life.
Some real sh**
