What’s crazy is that the end of the barrel is threaded like it supposed to be able to put an actual suppressor on it but you know Dayz

The mosin already has the highest accuracy and range out of any rifle in the game.
Aside from having a slightly better scope and reloading faster, i don't see how this gun is distinct enough from the Mosin to justify adding it in.
I would've rather have a less accurate SVT for 7.62x54 as a counterpart to the DMR, instead of this.
Mosin w scope has same accuracy as every other sniper rifle with a scope, and less range than some

@@georgestem2039 It does nowhere near as much shock damage lol, Mosin can’t reliably one tap uncon through a plate carrier
Without a scope that’s worth a crap this rifle is junk. Give me a tundra or savannah any day over this. Plus how is this any better than a vsd that’s semi auto, has the ability to mount a ranging scope and a suppressor any better? It’s not. Bohemia dropped the ball big time with this rifle.

Well yeah, any rifle without a scope is useless for sniping. Who would've thunk.
Plus, it's supposed to be a tier 3 gun, not a toxic zone/heli crash weapon. It doesn't need to be on the same power level as the SVD, which is supposed to be rarer.
The point is, this rifle would have been very good and would be in top 5 best weapons in the game if it had option for metal suppressor and hunting scope.
But right now it’s just a piece of junk, filler loot that nobody will ever use. Literally SKS is 10 times better than this glorified mosin.
