    you should talk about how to deal with a lot of pressure and where a open man will most likely be

    Great video. My pick for the GOAT, all-time master of the step down/time and room shot: Deemer Class (Loyola Blakefield/Duke). He's now routinely stinging 2 pointers in the MLL for the Atlanta Blaze like they are no big deal.

      I'm not ready to give Class the GOAT for step down shooting but he had a rip on him for certain. If you love snipers, few are better now than Bryan Costabile. Best shooter in the game right now with either time and room or as an alley dodger.

      Matty S, pick a topic you'd like covered and I'll knock it out when able. You guys that always comment and almost always kindly are greatly appreciated.

      @@LaxFactor Here's one: Influence of dominant Canadians and how their box backgrounds are changing the offensive field game with primarily/only strong handed play...recent examples include Joel Tinney, Jeff Teat, Chris Cloutier, Tre LeClair, Ethan Walker...perhaps leading into a comparison of their goals by strong hand v weak a/k/a "wrong" hand etc....contrasted with traditionally taught American style offense (cradling/dodging with one hand on the (top of the) stick, split dodges, passing and scoring with either hand being emphasized)....

      @@LaxFactor Another topic -- who are the current great two way middies (playing both offensive and defensive sets, like Zach Currier and Joel Tinney) and how their stats compare with the top SSDM players in GB, CT, etc.

      @@LaxFactor Another one -- In depth look at the SSDM position -- For instance, I know of two guys who were high powered offensive scoring-threat middies in high school who were converted to SSDM in college - Zach Goodrich (Towson) and Tal Bruno (Hopkins). This is an overlooked position that can have a big impact on games.

      Thanks Joe. More of those coming soon. Pouring through tape now. They'll be far, far better this time around after another year of shipping lax videos up.

    Do a video going in depth with one specific teams offense and how they work and finish the ball

      LaxFactor I feel like these videos are making my game better! To add one more thing you should go extremely in depth in the begging of the video on one or two plays than in the later plays let it play out a little more.

    How do you shoot around a d pole I have a hard time with that along with releasing the ball hard

    • @LaxFactor
      @LaxFactor  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You use them as a guide actually. I used to love wrapping my stick right on them, pretty much slashing my defender with my shot. They hated it haha.

    • @rafaelsegura7862
      @rafaelsegura7862 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would actually try this by snapping my wrists more, snapping right off my defenders shoulder or hip and thinking a spot to place my shot&let muscle memory take over

      Best way to shoot around a d pole is to go around go around a d pole. If you've got *time and room*, form up like you're about to shoot. The d wants to fill up the distance between him and you to stop the shot. When he's approaching you, do a face dodge or a toe drag to get around him and then you have a clear shot.
