This is my story of the restoration of a 16-year-old car, it has clocked around 1.80lacs of kms on the odometer reading. It has been a long way. I love my Tavera a lot and there is something that keeps me away from selling this one. The whole process of restoration took 2 months and I was with the car from day 1. Approx the cost spent on the project was 2 lakhs. Yes, it is expensive but the majority was the original spares. Denting painting took hardly 60-70k, rest everything was spare parts. As we know Chevrolet left India, getting original spares is expensive. This is my story, it took a lot of effort to bring the vehicle back in this condition. Do share the video if you like it. Generally it takes minimum of 2 months. Since I was working with the team we completed everything within 1.5months.
