I've recently torn through half a bottle of Paul Sebastian, Casual. I love it so very much. I even hunted down a vintage bottle, just to see if it's any stronger. The lasting power on the new one is atrocious but it makes me so happy!!! 🥰
Ahhh Noa, she is such an underrated gem. I find her hard to wear when it’s hot, but find perfect in cold, frosty days, when you'e outside wrapped in a soft scarf and wooly hat. The dry down is the cosiest comfort coffee musk. Mmmm! I want to try Indy and Unspoken now! Great vid, thank you 😊
@@skinscentsforfusspots Well, since I am the most suggestible person ever when it comes to perfumes, I got myself a bottle of Indy to try XD As soon as I sprayed it, I thought 'Crystal Noir!' I'm looking forward to trying it when it heats up a bit.
I had a contentious relationship with No. 5 DNA until a few months ago when I gave it more of my attention and ended up buying Eau Premiere, which lead buying L'eau...which I've been obsessed with the last couple months. I've gone through almost 50ml in 2 months. It's "perfume crack" for me, in the MacKinnion parlance. The musk they use is shampoo-y and divine. The No. 5 body cream is actually very potently scented and has a lot of musk like in the parfum/extrait and EDT, though it's lacking the animalic/civet tone. Expensive but performs really well and you only need a little. I love Lanvin Oxygene, too. I wore it all last summer. I agree that it has creamy bar soap energy. Didn't like the original Alyssa Ashley, but I'm curious about the White one!
I have just found out that Oxygene is another fragrance by Alberto Morillas. This man is an outstanding nose (he was born in Morón de la Frontera, a big village near from Sevilla, my city)🤗
When I saw the notification I couldn't click fast enough. Took note of the perfumes I'd like to try next, which were several lol. The last time I was at the perfume counter, I tried smelling the classic Chanel No.5 though I told the saleswoman that I never got on with it before. I still couldn't vibe with it, but I am now very curious about the L'eau version that you showed here. Also, * swoon * Noa and Oxygene are truly delicious and clean fragrances. Can't get enough of them. Great video as always!
Oooh L’eau is definitely worth checking out - it smells a bit classic at first and then just smells like the sort of scent trail you would follow down the street.
I knew you were going to pull out indi when you said it's in your top 5 for life! 😂 I'm one of the people who gets a wood musk and to me smells so warm and cosy, not cold at all! So strange how we all have different interpretations! Stash Unspoken didn't work on me, I felt it was too cloying and suffocating. Keep up the excellent work! 👏🏻
Did you say that you liked Jovan Musk, but not Jovan WHITE Musk? I smelled a woman last summer and had to ask her what she was wearing... it was Jovan White Musk. I immediately bought it. I’m in northern New England, US - and it is not so magical in the cool weather, but when the weather is warm it smells beautifully soft, sweet, and woody. I should really smell the other musk!
yeah Jovan White Musk is super popular but I find it too buttery! I declutters that one as it made me uncomfortable. I actually tested it again last year but I still couldn’t get along with it sadly! that one is super unique though so I can see why it’s popular! the AA white musk is really quite different and just works better for me.
I have! I thought it smelt okay, but nothing special and in terms of pheromones…. I get l more attention from my husband and other people when wearing Skin Musk!
The edp by far. Smells less woody and has a very intoxicating mix of (cold) sea notes, tonka and rose water. Sounds odd but my goodness it is beautiful. One of my cheapest perfumes yet I get asked about it every time I wear it. Perfect for hot summer days
@skinscentsforfusspots Also curious about Ulric De Varens Gold issime. That's supposed to be a really good #5 dupe. Just picked up Indra and I like it a lot. 💗
Looks like I'll be picking up Alfred Sung, Pure soon. There are a few discontinued, Lanvin fragrances I want to get first though. Thanks again. 😊

Yeah for such a soft musky scent, Noa really is too much in hot weather!

I love how you describe them
" fresh laundry dried in the back garden" I want that
AV is sooo nice! I never hear anyone talk about it, but my mom wears it often and it smells so clean and comforting.
It's such a good one!
Love your videos and taste in perfumes.kisses from Greece ❤
so glad you like my videos!

There’s definitely something magical about No.5 L’eau. a very wearable perfume in any occasion I’d say!

I have a few of his perfumes! He created 212 as well…. he clearly loves a soapy musk!

very informative, thanks!:)
I ADORE katy perry indie. ❤ to me, its the perfect musk, so intoxicating.
agreed!

I find other scents like Indi warm, but somehow Indi just smells fridge-cold to me! I absolutely love it though!
@@skinscentsforfusspotsit's fantastic. Top five for life for me too ❤

Have you tried pheromone musk?
I have! I thought it smelt okay, but nothing special and in terms of pheromones…. I get l more attention from my husband and other people when wearing Skin Musk!
So the lilac in the Alyssa Ashley, white musk is noticeable? I can't stand the original. Straight baby wipes. I'm hoping this one isn't similar. 💜
the original musk is very different from the white musk imho. I think the lilac is there but it’s not one I’d describe as a lilac dominant perfume
Elisabeth Arden White tea-which one smells better edt or edp?
depends if you prefer Iris (edt) or rose (edp)! My personal favourite is actually the ginger lily one!

Original #5 smells like burning rubber when I first spray it. It's too expensive for me to try & get past that. 😂
it can be challenging! I prefer Coty L’Amaint…. the soft and soapy vibe of no.5 without the chypre harshness (or the price tag!)
@skinscentsforfusspots That one is on my list. Love a good cheapie. Up to about 80 bottles in my collection now. Keep em' coming! 😉
