I agree with you. Grease is great. I wouldn't have been able to grow my locs without it. I only use it when i retwist. I've had the same jar of blue magic for almost two years. It's definitely all in how you use it!

I love Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey. I first started using it in 2000, back when she was making it in her kitchen. Put it on top of coconut oil, and the sheen you get is out of this world! It will transform a dry, busted braid out.

Hair butter can also cause build up I use my hair butter once a week a lot of naturals only like cowash that why they are crying about grease/hair butters shampoo with sulfates must be used with heavy products

My shampoo doesn't have sulfate, but I don't cowash and I never apply the heavy products directly on my scalp. So I never have crazy build up. I agree with you!
