thanks for uploading this! KrimhKerim is one of my favorite drummers right now! I found about him when he filling in for Inferno, and god damn, was I impressed!
It's funny. I've always done this with the left. Jumping between both feet leading. It really does help and my left has way more control and independence because of it. Great tips!!
Same here. A lot of guys talk about doing that. Steve Smith, Jason Bittner, etc. It just makes complete common sense. Play the same song with each foot. The added benefit... if you blow a pedal, you can still finish the song seamlessly on the other foot.
Awesome tips my friend. Thank you soooo much. I cant wait to practice tomarrow:) gunna beat my left foot up and smack it around a bit to wake it up with these techniques lol
i've been watching a lot of swivel videos and slowing them down to really understand the motion and i've realized everyone explains it wrong. it isn't the lateral motion that is responsible for each strike, quite the opposite, the lateral motion replaces the "up" motion in regular ankle motion[up down up down] the actually forward/down motion happens when the foot is moving from the outside, into the middle. think of it like this. take your hand out in-front of you, and basically draw a U shape with the hand, this is basically what the foot is doing, a constant back and forth U shape, but without as much upward motion, but with a little bit, so sort of like a bracket ( < that shape ( but on its side. the lateral motion moves the weight of the leg off the pedal, allowing it to rebound, then the heel moves into the center, and the weight and power of the leg is over the pedal and it drives the beater into the head. it's not really that important, but i think people would understand it better if it was explained this way^
I used to swivel but double stroke rolls are much faster with not as much effort but harder to keep even once you get it down though there's no turning back
***** One hour of pure technique training every single day (no exceptions) and you're there in 20,74 years (according to the ten thousand hour rule). I bet Krimh have done that for a decade at least.

It's nice to hear him talking german. :)

How did it go? How much time it took to get there?
The cigarette analogy was used by Kollias. It's a good analogy, but I would've changed it to stomping on a cockroach. Salute!
Tim waterson also used the cig analogy
Excellent!!!!
god bless you brother

Which direction do you go first for the right foot? Left or right?

How it sounds without triggers?
I do it for hands. There is no point for me to play singles for fast tom fills.
increíble!!!!!
Great!
3:38 - 4:05 is impressive!!! what a control!! I´ve been playing double bass for 5 year and I´m not even near to do that :(

I started last week!
+Marius Viken fuck I need a doubel bass right now
You need two feet and a floor. Research the bare hand and bare foot practice technique.
I wonder if he can do this swivel technique and play that fast on a cheap double pedals such as Gibraltar 6711 double chains 😁
Mike Savin Yes he can. He uploaded a video on Instagram where he shows that the pedalprice doesn't matter but technique.
What's the track at 6:42?
3:54 THAT IS NOT THE WORD BUT TRANSCENDING
WOW...
er ist aus der Schweiz?
Ne so tönt kein schweizer. Er ist wohl aus Oestereich
