Zhou and Song's characters were designed to complement each other whereby she learns advance knowledge about the design business and he learns about family relationships. Having lost his parents at a young age, Song and Luo had little parental guidance. I believe Song is strict with his sister because he had to be that way with himself in order to survive and thrive.

If I didn't know some Mandarin I would be super confused watching this show. The subtitles are not accurate but I am still grateful to those who put in the time to subtitles it. At least they give you a sense of what is going on.
Some of it is not an exact translation. For example, Song in Mandarin said "Luoluo left school?" but the English sub translation was "what?". Lol.

in Our Glamorous Time you can see how Zhao Liying attires so elegant because shes portraying the title. while in this Love Designer i can't see that much in Dilraba's outfit or attires everyday. shld. the outfit best. but shes so beautiful as well as Huang Jingyu.
