- WORKING MAGIC ITEMS! Building magical handouts for your games.
In this video I build a working Magic item to reveal hidden messages and pathways to my players. I love the use of handouts and props in my Tabletop gaming. So I decided to take it to the next level, with a small puzzle item that can reveal hidden secrets to the plays if they use it properly.
I use a combination of kit bashing a basic craft methods to create a magic item that used UV light to reveal invisible messages. A great way to use props and handouts to spice up the tabletop gaming experience.

I've done the magic marker trick with a map of the hatchery on Tyranny of Dragons.
It adds another level of fun to the table doesn't it? I love having interaction with magic items and hand out that can actually be used
looks fun to use. will see about getting some of those pens for an amulet in the future.
Its a great peice of kit. Even a year later the uv ink still shows up. Have plans for a new build using this same idea in the near future
This gets me excited to make stuff like this for my players. Did you edit that pokeball SD card holder model to shave of some mass from the sides? Links for those models would be a welcome sight to see in the video description :)

Ignoring the fact that I'm a lot older than you. Girls were not included in DnD back when I was likely to get into it. And based on your use of the word "torch" for the item I call "flashlight" you are probably thousands of miles away from... If you ignore all that, I really want to be part of your DnD group.

Did you draw the maps? Did you do a video on cloth maps... and i missed it? If so, slap on the wrist for me. Your use of soundtrack (blending & fading) is fun.
